GOOD QUALITY HIGH VISIBILITY JACKET. I HAVE USED THIS JACKET ABOVE AND UNDERGROUND, IN ALL TYPES OF ELEMENTS AND IT HOLDS UP NICELY TO THE ABUSE. VERY COMPARABLE TO HIGH END BRANDS SUCH AS CARHARTT. PLENTY OF FEATURES TO ACCOMADATE THE WORKER WHO NEEDS TO BE SEEN BY THE PUBLIC.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS JACKET TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY GARMENT AT A GOOD PRICE.

The DOT requires the new florescent yellow color to be worn by all companies that work on or near the roads. This is very good craftsman quality that you would expect. It is better than a vest because of the wearability of a sweatshirt and of course the warmth factor in the cold months. I would suggest this for any and all members of the DOT families of companies. And maybe those companies should buy them as part of their uniform for their workers....

Nice looking jacket with some good features. I had problems with the reflective decals peeling off and weak stitching on Velcro closures. Tried to exchange it, but they were out of stock. Decided I would try to fix it. Fixed the Velcro patches by reinforcing the stitching. Fixed the reflective decals buy pressing them down with a hot steam iron set on the polyester setting. About three to four seconds pressing with the iron secured the decals. Jacket is now working well....

Got this as an early Christmas gift for my job. First, the velcro started ripping off - had it stitched back on. Then the reflective striping started peeling. ALL STORES IN MY AREA ARE OUT OF STOCK. A 2 year warranty is useless when it can't be replaced....

I also got the jacket for Christmas , only to take a good look at it the 2nd time I wore it, and noticed that one of the short stripes was begining to come off. I thought that it might be just the one short strip and the others seemed fine. I wore it for three weeks and washed it according to the directions and many more started to come off. I brought it back wanting to exchange it for another one(figureing that it might be from a bad batch) but just my luck the only one they had in stock was the wrong size. I am currently trying to locate a Sears that sells the jacket and might have the right size...

I got the orange jacket because it seemed to fluoresce more than the yellow. Fluorescence on the yellow jacket seemed to be reduced by the black liner showing through the yellow material. Silver reflective material seems to be attached firmly on mine. Velcro placement interferes with the zipper action. Jacket is very warm and looks good with either black or orange side out. Overall hard to beat at the sale price of $37.00 with a 2 year warranty!...

I have purchased the jacket after Christmas 07, but already noticed some of the reflective stripping coming off. Has anyone else had this problem. I will be making a trip back to Sears for replacement should the stripping continue to come off since the jacket has a full 2 year warranty on normal wear. The jacket does have good wind resistance....
