From the first day that I brought home my new mower I have loved it. Haven't had any problems out of it. Strong motor and real smooth hydrostatic transmission.

This and all of the Craftsman lawn mower are GREAT!! I have had several craftsman lawn mower over the years and we love them. They have made them better and better ever year. We use our mower for everything we can. We even took on mower other people's yards because this mower is so good.

I have had the riding mower for about 1and half years have had no prbloems with it all you gotta do is keep the blades sharp and the oil changed and use good gas if I need another mover later then it will be a another craftsman rider maybe a bigger one next time

I have had my Craftsman riding lawnmower for 20 years and even though it looks worn and sounds worn, it still mows the grass like a new one. I have been very pleased with its performance. The fact that it is still working without major or many minor repairs says volumes.

This is our third Craftsman riding mower in the last 15 years. Someone stole the first one and our Katrina beat up yard finally did the second one in after ten years. We've increased mower size and horsepower each time. This one has saved time cutting our large yard.

I have about 6-7 acres that has to be mowed and I need a tractor that will hold up under all of that weekly and get the job done. Part of my acreage is pasture and uneven ground. I trust Craftsman products and feel this mower will be the one for me.

I have always been a big fan of Craftsman brand tools so it seemed obvious that I should purchase a Craftsman Riding Mower when it came time to replace my old mower....I have been completely satisified with the years of service I have gotten from the mower so far & it looks like smooth sailing for several more years !...

I purchased the 46 inch Hydrostatic mower. It was on sale for the same price of the 42" and I also bought the 2 bagger system and the mulching blades. The mulching blades were the best purchase because the bagger is not a very high quality in my opinion. After having a 20 year old powercraft with metal rimmed bags, this bagger (all plastic) is not going to last. Mower has a tight turning radius and has plenty of power to pull my aereator. Has a few rattles because the hood has no latches but so far the mower has been great! The only con is reverse mowing where you have to turn the key to backup. A "safety" feature that I'm sure all the new mowers have. Probably a government requirement. Oil changes are easy with the tube.

One year I bought the 17.5 hp lawn tractor and soon found that I needed the bagger for all the leaves that fall in my yard. It went together easily and really gets those leaf chores done alot easier than raking or even a leaf blower. So I take good care of my mower and it takes good care of me.

I have owned my Craftsman, 42", riding mower for ten years and it has always given me great service. I hit a stump once and had to get new blades, but I adjusted the mower housing myself from the manual information. I would recommend to anyone getting a new riding mower to buy a Craftsman. There is great support both in the manual and online, as well as a store with parts right nearby. We also have Sears appliances in our home and they have lasted for years without needing repair, but when that occurs we always have online and local people to help us. Good work, Sears!

The only con I had was prior to buying the mulching kit, it shot the grass very far and did kick up dust in an area that the grass was sparce.

It works just fine now with the mulching blades.

My next want for this baby is the bagging containers.
