It has been years since I had a Mr. Coffee and expected they had improved their product. Wrong. It dripped when pouring and cleaning, the coffee fluctuated between too weak or having a burnt flavor, the flat bottom filters often collapsed resulting in the grounds making a mess in the basket and getting into the pot. I returned the machine and it will be my last Mr. Coffee product. Spent the extra and got a Cuisinart model DCC-1200W which works great and has many nice features, the best being its appearance, drip proof carafe, 3 year warranty, and the cone filter. I have used cone filter machines for several years and find they make the richest flavored coffee, which means you can use less grounds. This machine makes great coffee and is very attractive. My one suggestion would be that the white model should be carried in the stores. It seems the black model is on display, but the white one has to be ordered online. For those of us......
