My review is simply the aircraft was clean the attendants cheerful, the pilot was there upon entering an leaving the aircraft I had connecting flight that were tight and made sure my seating accomodated for that purpose. It was enjoyable and they did what I had signed up for; got me there on-time and safely.

So, I travel from Florida to Kansas City about 5 times a year for business. I try to stay with them at least long enough to gain a free ticket with miles. But, I do consistently see delays. The worst I ever had and most disappointing was a layover in Atlanta due to inclement weather from some other place that my flight was coming in from. They offered me nothing in return. I had to stay in Atlanta overnight and was totally on my own. No food voucher, no nothing...and it was very late at night (after 11pm). I was disappointed in the lack of concern for my happiness. Overall on my other flights, things usually go pretty well; hoewver, a few trips have had one hour or so delay (always in Atlanta). The other item I wish I could change, is the availability of their free tickets. They seem to have the 25,000 mile tickets gone quickly, with only the 50,000 tickets available if not reserved a few months in advance. I miss the better food they used to offer. I flew Delta to see my Dad....I had to fly with stop overs and that made me nervous. The last time I had flown ...it was with American and they treated me absolutely horrible and my stop over was a nightmare! So THIS flight with Delta went so smoothly and they were so nice and helpful to me that I would certainly consider flying them again.

The flight attendants on the way back were so happy and friendly ....they just made you smile. So different from the scowling, unhappy and unhelpful flight attendants I dealt with on American.

Even the counter where I checked in....the security checkpoints and the luggage carriers. All friendly and helpful....again compared to that OTHER one....night and day!

I didnt have to deal with Delta's customer service....b/c I didnt have any problems. But I can tell you American's was horrible and did not deal with the MANY problems I had had with them on ALL my flights both there and back. I know Delta wouldnt have treated me that way BUT I wouldnt KNOW as I...

dear reader;

this is for anyone who hasn't taken a plane in many years. the last time i

was on a plane was 1974. last week i had the pleasure of flying with delta.

i need to confess i was scared. i prayed and had others to pray for a

safe trip. i'm a hospice volunteer that needed a break. i've been a volunteer

for four years. i was never scared the entire flight. when the landing gear came

down it was a little un easy. if money allows i hope to keep flying. it certainly

beats a two day bus trip to des moines,iowa,from the state of new york.

thank you delta. ,sorry you didn't have any free gifts.

oh,yes my flight on united was canceled that's how i was able to go delta.

In December tlast year my husband and I flew Delta Airlines from indianapolis, In. to San Francisco,Ca. We had no delays and the time between planes was spaced so we didn't have to rush and had a gourmet meal in the San Francisco airport. The stewardress' were very nice and helpful to us. We also liked being able to travel on the Bart from the airport to our final destination. We will definitely do this trip again....

My family and I purchased our Delta airline tickets online the night before our scheduled trip for an interview. We arrived at the airport within the appropriate timeframe and checked in at the counter. The agent was lacking professionalism and did not inform us of any rules that had changed at the airport. The TSA informed us that Delta chose us to be checked thoroughly at the security check gate. We had decided to carry on our bags due to the fact that I did not want to take the chance of losing my clothing for the interview. I have two disabled family members with me and this process became very invasive. My daughter actually was crying by now. To make a long story short, by the time that we got to the gate, we had two minutes before take off. I kept running and screaming for the agent at the gate to wait, but she did not even acknowledge me. The agent even refused to wait for my disabled husband to arrive and demanded that he run (he has had a heart attack, 14 operations,......

Delta Airlines has always been most enjoyable to fly.

Staff is polite and helpful.

They honor their frequent flyer miles points and were most helpful

when I experienced a family death and had to depart on quick notice.

When flying my elderly mother (91) they were most helpful in every way.
