I bought this MP3 player a few months ago to use while travelling. Although it's a little complicated to understand - at first - how to transfer files from the computer to the player, it is fairly easy to use. The sound is OK - not great - and the screen is too small. The buttons are made of a somewhat flimsy plastic, but, overall, this MP3 player is pretty good for the price paid.

Buyer Beware: I'm very careful with my electronics, and I needed a cheap MP3 player that I could take the gym and around town and not worry about damaging it or losing it. So I picked up a 2gb Element mp3 player. The first one stopped working in less then a month, then the sales man stated I had to replace it with the same unit. So I replaced it with the same one. But I purchased the warrenty on a $20 mp3 player, because I knew it was going to stop working again. Sure enough in less then two months it just stopped playing songs and I couldn't sync it to my laptop again. I had to mail it back in with the warrenty and I'm still waiting for my gift card. I just went out and purchased a Nano From ******** for $149.00. I guess you get what you pay for. On another note, I do love my nano. I've had it for 3 months and it's worth every penny.

When it did play songs the battery life was very low, and the ear plugs that it came with hurt my ears and didn't sound that great.

I bought this MP3 for my 7 y'o daughter for her Birthday.. At first, it took me a while to figure out the program and how to transfer and download the music, but after a bit of trial and error (30 mins) I was able to figure it out.... She hasn't put the thing down since she got it, but we've had a couple problems with it.. At one point it started buzzing and the music almost sounded like alien talk.. I tried turning it off but it did nothing, so I took the battery out, waited about a min, put it back in and restarted it and it started working again just fine..... Another time it froze up while playing a song, I had to do the same thing I did before, take the battery out and put it back in... Unfortunetly, I had to do this a few times in a very short amount of time.... Also, the USB extention cord that came with the MP3 doesn't seem to be working, so I have to plug the MP3 dirrectly into my USB...... Other then that, it is a great buy especially for parents looking to buy an MP3...

These was a great product for under $30.00 but after having it for less then 8 months it no longer will communicate with computers, so I can't load any music files on it. At first I thought it was just my laptop, but it's every computer I've tried.

I know the product was way cheaper then others on the market but I would hope they do something about the quality of there product.

My son received this MP3 player for his birthday from his tech savy uncle. I helped him get started, and now he is on his own downloading songs. Great product....
