I had a choice between the bench or actual chairs. I have 3 kids and we are two adults. I didn't see how five chairs would look with the table better then the fit of the bench that can easily be tucked away under the table without taking extra space. The bench we not in stock in the K-Mart store so I went on line and found them in a different color and available to pick up the next in the the store. I was happy with my choice because it was an inexpensive investment the can see my kids through.

Very nice and sturdy construccion and also very conventient when you have guests and you need extra sitting for kids. Works good for me, I have three kids, they fit perfect, while I have the adults sitting on more comfortable chairs of the same set. When not in use I push it a little bit under the table giiving me extra room space.

I bought these thinking my 3 yr old twin boys would like to sit on them. They do, but they sit on their knees, and since little boys can never sit still, the benches are always rocking back and forth. It tipped one day and caught the big toe of one of my boys, needless to say he lost his toe nail.....these benches are VERY heavy. Thats why I gave it a 3 star rating, I think they are sturdy, and well built. I am getting rid of my 2 benches and getting chairs. My daughter will be crawling soon and dont want them to fall over on her.

I love this bench, I purchased it at the store, I also purchased the table and 2 chairs along with another bench. I bought an extra bench just in case we have company and that way you can put a chair on each end and a bench on each side. Plus it was all on sale. Its big enough to sit 3 kids I think..The store I went to the people that helped me were very nice and helpful. It looks great in my kitchen with the rest of the collection. I can't say enough about it thats how pleased I am about this collection.. It was also VERY EASY to put together and packed well. Thank you K-mart......

I bought this bench to go with a farmhouse style set that is 4 years old. My chairs have seen alot of abuse from my 3 kids and I recently had to have them tightened. I saw this bench on sale and I thought I'd take it home and try it. When I put it together I also used liquid nails glue on the top of the legs where it meets the bench for extra strength. It is very sturdy and it looks so nice that no one would suspect I only paid $54 for it. I spent more than that repairing my 6 $120 each chairs. I am thinking about putting away the other 2 chairs and getting another bench for the other side of the table. The quality of the bench is great and well worth every penny....

I purchase the bench to go with my farmhouse table as extra seating. I have grandsons and when they're over, we don't have enough seating. This piece was very easy to assemble, very sturdy and a very good buy for the money. I am very happy with this purchase....

Love this bench!!! I bought it to go with a table that I bought from a different store and it matches it perfectly for extra seating. Very sturdy, beautiful style and colors, great price and super easy to put together! When not in use for extra seating at the table, we have it at the foot of our bed so when my hubby gets ready for work he can use it to put his shoes on, etc. Absolutely love it and want another!!!!...

I ended up getting a free table and chairs from a friend, but needed a bench. I priced them out at $200 plus. I was skeptical about this one, but it really was a great deal. Very sturdy and couldn't have been easier to put together. I also painted the black parts to a neutral sage color to match my chairs / table and it looks great. Have gotten a lot of compliments. Very happy with this purchase...

The farm bench was delivered in a very timely manner. The quality is amazing, and it is very simple to put together. There was one small abrasion on the top of the seat, but because the bench is rustic looking, it blended right in. I highly recommend this product....

This farmhouse bench was delivered quickly and was simple to put together -- you just attach the legs. It looks like a more expensive piece and is very sturdy. It was the perfect solution since I needed extra seating at the table but have limited space. It just tucks under the table when not in use....
