Once I got the feel of installing the gate, it's now a breeze to put up & take down. I think I was thinking there has to be more to do, but it wasn't. It is exactly what I needed to keep the baby in and the puppy out. I'm pleased because it didn't cost me an arm and leg. I even bought the smaller one for the staircase....

This gate has everything you need - easy to set up, easy to take down, sturdy, and safe. It stands up to my toddler and his cousins of all ages - toddler to preteen. My big dog can't knock it down. For some reason, the cats, who can jump straight from the floor to the fireplace mantle, won't jump over it either. A great product, and affordable! --I'm 5'5", and can climb over this easily, but if you're not used to/flexible enough to hike your leg over it, you may have a harder time....

Candlelightcrazy says "Lifesaver" about Evenflo Position and Lock Plus Gate

I am a mother of a very curious 2 1/2 year old. He's onto and into everything especially in my kitchen :) I needed a longer gate that would fit my 48 inch opening. This gate is wonderful!!!! It is almost as high as my son, so I don't have to worry about him climbing over it. He has my husband's height so he's pretty tall and it expands to 50 inches so it fits in the opening. It was a little confusing to set for me initially, but once that was done, you can just lift it up to move it and push straight back down to reset it again. My husband is 6'2" and so he can walk over the gate, however, I'm 5'6" and I cannot walk over it. Like I mentioned earlier, you just lift straight up and it will loosen to move it and then push straight back down and it will lock back into place. It has a very tight fit and my son cannot push or pull it out of place. It has been a lifesaver and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a gate that is longer or one that your little one cannot climb over. The price......

I have had nearly thirty years of experience in baby gates. Of all that I have bought over the years. I have found this brand to be the easiet to install/uninstall. Storage is easy since it literally folds up flat. Can be placed under beds, inside closets, etc.......

I've used two other gates, and this one by far was the best! Other than the obvious likeability factors, like its effectiveness in keeping kids safely in (or out) of a room, sturdiness, etc... this gate is easy to use and can be set up quickly. I take mine down and put it back in place everyday in a matter of seconds. I ended up buying one for the sitter's house as well!...

I bought this gate when my son was younger. It kept him out of the kitchen which also led to the bathroom. He couldn't climb over the gate so that helped a lot. I ended up buying a second one for my bedroom this summer so I could leave the air conditioner on and keep him out of the room....
