If you are in a windy area, the wind will blow it off almost immediately. Some sort of sewn in tie downs would be a great idea for future products.... It does not fit like the picture at all, in a matter of fact it does not fit or cover the set as shown, not even close. How can they advertise a picture with the chairs under the table and the cover covering it all and it is at least 18 inches short front to back. Very poor advertising... The thing freakn blew off in seconds. The next day I even tied rope around the whole thing and it still came off. It also ripped. We have a long rectangular table. It doesnt even look like what it was in the picture. It doesnt go to the ground. It needs something to strap around the bars of the chair or something.... I have to agree with others in that this would perform much better with some kind of drawstring, bungie cords, or something to hold it down during a wind storm. I tuck the ends under furniture legs and/or place heavy items on the top of table & chair arms to keep it down. However that has caused the edges to tear over the years. In the summer months it keeps my cushioned furniture protected from the possible rainy nights, but in the winter, I store my cushions in the house and the cover has still done a good job of keeping the furniture itself from "weathering" in the winter months. My furniture set still looks almost brand new. (Unless the weather report is for a string of clear nights in the summer time, I do cover my set at night to protect from the possible elements, so it has been taken on/off my set many times over the past 3 years.) It is a big job to wash......
