thesilverangel says "Not my favorite stroller" about Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller

Okay I got the Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller as a shower gift when I had my twins, and it works well when you are going for a walk or going to the park. The biggest problem I had with this stroller is it didn't fit inside my trunk so I really never took it to the store, mall, or doctors. I will say that deep storage area is good for taking toys and a picnic to the park. As far as a good stroller for on the go I really like the Jeep double umbrella stroller the best! Fits through any door a wheel chair can so it is the stroller I use at the airport and on the go.
...

bellabooboutique says "The DuoGlide is great for parents with multiple kids" about Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller

Our two oldest children are only twenty two months apart and I quickly found out that it was very hard going to town by myself. We had a single stroller but trying to push it and carry one of the kids just wasn't working. We purchased the Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller and it was great. It had plenty of space for both kids to be comfortable and had a large basket underneath for putting our items. There were cup holders and each seat had its own umbrella which the kids liked so they could hide from each other. I did have some dislikes with this stroller. When the kids got a little bigger the stroller got heavy and a bit difficult to push. The seat covers also tore. My son liked to prop his feet on the back of the seat in front of him and the fabric is not very thick and started getting little holes in it which eventually tore the whole lenght of the seat. The fabric really needs to be made with better quality that can withstand the kids. Clean up of this stroller was very easy. When there...
...

cbrooks says "I took my graco duoglider shopping!" about Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller

The thing I must say is the under carriage basket is huge! I can just be out for a walk and go grocery shopping and get a couple bags of groceries fit in there so nicely in addition to my purse and a couple blankets for the kids.

I got mine off of craigslist and mine has a 3 pt. harness instead of a 5 pt. harness so I guess there are upgrades to buying brand new. And you can use an infant carseat in both seats with the trays in place. - no carseat adapter things to change out for a tray. I like that a lot because I have a graco single stroller that does the same thing and its just so nice to clip in my 10 month old's graco snugride carseat without having to have put on an adapter like alot of strollers make you do.

My 10 month old is almost grown out of her infant seat and my duoglider that i just got 2 weeks ago off of craigslist didn't come with trays, so I have been making the big kid switch to actually using the stroller seats, and that is totally great too. My 10 month old loves looking...
...

gendron76791 says "Graco double stoller works okay for two kids, can be bulky" about Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller

This stoller is large enough for my two kids with the tray remove so my 4 year old can fit. The basket under the stroller and the front canopy has issues when you fold the stroller up. I have a van so it fits well in there, but in a car on small suv it could be tough to get in. Drives well and brakes work well.
...

I have this stroller in a different print. I received it as a gift when I was having a second baby. The stroller looks nice and is spacious and the kids appear to be comfy. However, it is so heavy. I have an SUV so I can just somewhat slide it in. My husband has a car though and it breaks your back putting it in the trunk. You definitely need two hands to guide it as well.
...

This stroller was great when the twins were small! I loved being able to snap the car seats right in. It is a little heavy, but managable. It also took up a lot of room in the truck, but we were able to fit it in a Chevy Cavalier one time when a friend borrowed it. When the twins turned about a year, I had to buy the side by side because they were beginning to kick each other in the head and pull the front riders hair from the back. (lol... starts young) All in all, I think it was still a good purchase. I kept mine in very good shape and we sold it to a friend for $80. I believe I paid somewhere around $150 for it so we got our $70's worth out of it. If you have twins- it's a definite must.
...

Mikesmom says "Graco Double Stroller- Very difficult to use" about Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller

The Graco Double Stroller is very difficult to use- not only the one I bought, but alos the floor display in the store. The front cup tray, which is needed to place the car seat in the stroller, is very hard to latch onto the stroller and once you do get it on, it's just as difficult to get off. I thought I just had a defective one until I brought it back and when I looked at the floor model, I had the same exact problem ans so did the sales woman. I used the stroller 4 times and literally broke into a sweat each time I had to attach the front tray and detach it.

It's also quite big which makes it difficult to maneuver in a mall. I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old and I think I will just get one of those sit and stand strollers if I can't find a good double stroller.
...

I purchased this stroller because I was planning a trip into downtown Chicago and didn't want to worry about my 5-year old getting tired quickly with all of the walking. I needed a stroller that was big enough to hold my 2 children, ages 5 and 1, but user-friendly and compact enough for me to take on the hour train ride from Elgin. This stroller did the trick. I loved the huge storage space on the bottom along with the tight compartments on the steering bar. The color also was well-suited for both my daughter and son. AND, as long as the front wheel locks didn't slide down, I was able to manuever in and out of busy crowds during my visit.

...
