I've owned this unit for a bit over three years now, so I'll give you a detailed, critical review.

Having an old house without room or the proper electrical for a full size dishwasher, I thought we'd give this a try. Hand washing just doesn't get the dishes that nice, hot, sterile clean, so this is a great alternative.

My machine arrived with some dings and dents, but the hassle of returning it outweighed the damage. Like many others, I had to replace the washer in the hose (it all depends on the kind of faucet you have) before having a nice leak-free connection, but it's since impressed me with its performance. My set up is a bit different in that it is permanently connected to the hot water hose of my washing machine (with a shut off valve) and drains into my washer. In terms of washing, I give this machine high marks. It runs in our household at least once a day, giving us super clean dishes and it swallows more than you would expect.

It's the quality/fit/finish that I have issue with....

The one gripe I have with Haier is that their owners manuals leave a lot to be desired. For instance, the manual tells you that if there is a problem you will hear a beep. What it doesn't bother to tell you is give much detail about what to do. The first load I ran 3 times before it ran a full cycle and drained properly. Attach the hose to your kitchen sink faucet with a rubber band if it sits on the countertop or equal height. I don't know why it works but it does. Having said that, dishes come out clean and sanitized. Scrape or rinse like you would any regular dishwasher. I have thrown in some dried on dishes to see what it would do and it cleaned those well. I am very satisfied with this purchase because I also needed a clothes washer and bought a Haier. The sink adapter is the same for both and that is a huge time saver. Both machines are doing a great job 1 month after purchase and I am happy. The clothes washer HLP21E is getting our clothes super clean and extracts water better than......

I am really loving my little dishwasher! It washes most things pretty well. Light-weight plastics tend to not stay in place but it's still worth every penny....

I have used this dishwasher for a month almost daily. The door can't take the weight when you fill up this dishwasher, but it has not caused a problem. It is too tall to fit on my countertop, but it can still fit anywhere that is convenient. I have it on a rolling cart. I take the dishes and put them right in and then roll it to the kitchen sink....

I just got my new dishwasher and it is more then i thought it would ever be it washes all the dishes super clean i am very happy with the price and the product if u need a dishwasher this is all u need i have 6 kids too it my be a smaller dishwasher but its washes and drys in 40mins...

It was easy to install and does a decent job cleaning, but it's a good idea to rinse dishes really well before loading. The only complaints I have are that the top rack is pretty useless and it's hard to put bowls in the dishwasher. It still beats hand washing!...

We bought this for our small kitchen to wash my son's baby bottles and stuff. It has proven to be a godsend. We now use it for everything. It sits so neatly on our counter top. Friends come in and ask what that machine is in our kitchen and they are shocked when we tell them it is our dishwasher. It won't hold big skillets and big pots, but hey we love it for everything else. BUY IT...

I tried out this unit in my samll apatment and was very pleasantly surprised at how effective it is for a small space. So if you don't like doing dishes, buy one of these. Easy to hook up. Takes only a minute or two. Highly recommended...
