The main point when buying a laptop is to basically see 3 things from the technical side.

1. processor- usually intel is preferred because it more stable

2. video card- this point is usually not really apparent. They will have a great price good processor and a cheap video card. This product has a nice graphic card but and average to low end processor.

3. hard drive & memory- basically the bigger the better aim for the SATA drives and DDR ram. Upgrades are expensive so when you buy either keep it bare and think of buying a new one in a few years or buy big and use it for a long time

2 points on utility

1. battery life try and make sure its a lithium battery ask for battery life.

2. weight- lighter usually means more money but if your carrying it around its something to consider. Stores usually have on display models without the battery. Its about twice as heavy so a thing to consider.

If you dont love the feel dont buy it. :D

I recieved my laptop last year right after Christmas. It is very fast paced. I have never had any trouble out of it. It is still just as fast as it was the day I bought it. I do recommend this lap top....

This is an awesome computer for a great deal. The screen is crystal clear and HP customer service is second to none. This definitley has enough memory for the price. The speakers are very clear and loud. The only thing I wish this had was the built in webcam. This is a great laptop for first time buyer or college student....
