I love the memory card slots - they make working with my digital photos so convenient. The print quality of the printer itself is flawless, the ease of changing ink cartridges is better than any printer so far, and the ink last a long, long time. The speed for printing is great, even in color, and I haven't found any thickness of paper yet it won't handle. I print a lot of pictures on photo paper and they look very professional. This is the best HP printer I have ever owned. As to the scanning function, it scans very quickly and depending on the quality of your original document, the scanned document is of high quality and can be enhanced to make it better than the original.... The included software allows you to print just exactly what specific sections you may want off of a web page, not wasting ink and paper to print the entire page. The quality of photo printing is also excellent. I also LOVE how user friendly this all in one is; you don't need an IT degree to connect or use any of its' many features. In addition, the ink for this model is super cheap, in the $25 range for a package that includes both black and color....
