Over priced but still a good machine (not great but good). I'd save my money by waiting for a sale or for the Ionic Pro to come down to a realistic price. Useless on Cigarette smoke and certain other oders. Even the PRO version is only good on small rooms. Dust can be seen going in and right out again and needs to pass around several times before it catches it. This machine does not catch the 99.9% dust it says it does but I would agree that it at least gets 70% of it. I would still recommend this machine if the price was more realistic and you used it in a tiny room like a bathroom, large closet, or other area that is small.

I have asthma and for the longest time I went without an air purifier until my dad purchased this for me. I have loved having it and I would buy more. It cleans the air extremely well, you can smell the difference within a matter of minutes. It works well in our large open living room as well as our smaller bedrooms. The cons I have with this product is that it requires a lot of maintenance. I have to clean the strips every few days, depending on which room I have it in, and I also have to clean the inside of the system every week or so as well. Despite all the cleanings though, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants cleaner air in their home.

So far, so good. It works great. Cleaning is easy and there is no worries about having to change a filter. It's also easy to travel with. However the constant e-mails to write a review were very annoying....

Not easy to clean. Seems like every two or three days I have to clean the strip, which has to dry. Not alot of power. Going to send it back to Sears and look for something really worth the money. Really don't recommend it....

Silent, works great, does the job, but NO WHERE IN THE DESCRIPTION DOES IT WARN YOU THAT YOU MUST CLEAN THE BLADES EVERY FOUR OR FIVE DAYS, AND THAT IT REQUIRES DISABLING THE UNIT; NOT EASY TO CLEAN & MUST WAIT FOR DRYING..ETC., AND THAT YOU MUST CLEAN OTHER PARTS EVERY 5-7 DAYS... WAY TOO MUCH FOR A TROUBLE FOR ME..but the unit does do the job of collecting fine particles !!...

The price you pay for the level of quality in this product is good. I thought it would stick out like a sour thumb but you hardly notice it. On the negative side the blades are extremely difficult to remove and clean. Hind thought, knowing what I know now I don't believe I would purchase it again....

This is our first air purifier. I did alot of checking around and reading reviews. The main reason I like this is because it is easy to use and you do not have replace a filter every month. It cleans up nice also & completely silent!...
