I love this dishwaher. It works great. Because of the lay out in our kitchen, we couldnt have a built in dishwasher. This was a great solution. The dishwasher works really well at cleaning dishes. all you have to do is remove clumps and it does the rest. Its so handy to plug this in every night and know when you wake up your dishes are clean.

The set up is very simple and only takes seconds. The dishwasher has multiple settings for cycles and drying. It also has a very handy lock button for little fingers who like to push buttons.

I am very satisfied with our purchase of this dishwasher. It will be with us for many years.

I have had my Kenmore for almost 6 years now, and it cleans my dishes just as well today as the first day. It never occurred to me to run the dishwasher empty - sometimes you have to wash your dishwasher - but a friend suggested it and I did it. It made no difference - my Kenmore was already cleaning far better than my friend's much more expensive built-in dishwasher. I have a tiny kitchen and building a dishwasher in is impossible. This way I just roll it over, run it, and roll it back. So much better than washing by hand!

After a long and detailed investigation of portable dishwashers, I settled on the 24" Kenmore Portable Dishwasher as my choice. I couldn't be happier. The machine works very well and it's quieter than my old Whirlpool portable was. Tall knives and cooking utensils don't fit vertically in the silverware rack but that applies to almost all dishwashers on the market so this is not a minus for me. I've had the unit for three weeks now and I couldn't be happier.

We have owned this dishwasher for about 2 months now, and it is wonderful. After researching dishwashers for several weeks, this one came out on top time and time again in the reviews, and it has proven itself in my kitchen. One unique feature worth mentioning is that the sides are black, most of the similar models we found may have had a black front, but often had non-black sides. Obviously there are more expensive dishwashers with bells and whistles, but for an overall great value without being bottom of the barrel...This is the one you want!...

We are really very pleased with this dishwasher. It cleans fabulously, saves water, and is a breeze to hook up to the faucet. We've used it for regular dishes, pots and pans, even casserole dishes with baked-on food. No complaints at all. We've used it every day for nine months without any problems. Definitely highly recommend it!...

This machine seems to clean well. However it is obnoxiously loud. We have had a portable machine for 8 years, but it needed to be replaced. This is NOT the machine we will be replacing it with. Even though it says it is energy star, it is not. It says it has sound insulation. It does not. We are not happy and will be going with another brand. We are disappointed as we typically have been very happy with Kenmore....

This dishwasher is a god-send. I ordered it and had it delivered in less than a 5 days. I have used it a half dozen times and it rocks! Dishes come out clean and mostly dry (as with other dishwashers), it is easy to hook-up and unhook, and the solid butcher block countertop is a great place to stack dishes as I'm unloading. When not in use, the dishwasher easily rolls out of the way. And, should I ever decide to install it, I can do so for less than $100. My husband agress - I should have bought this years ago!...

Have owned this dishwasher for about a month and love it. It does a very good job and is not as loud as what I feared it would be. Rolls very easily and makes for a great island countertop work station....

I searched and searched for just the right dishwaser. I needed a portable one because my 8 year old house was not fit for one, believe it or not. I chose this one because it was a decent price for a 24", portable, good reviews and could be converted to a built in if we ever decide to fit it in. I was pleasantly surprised. I needed black and was happy that this one was black in the front and in the back, some are not. The rollers are very smooth and I can move it with very little effort. It cleans well and I have yet to have anything come out poorly as long as it was loaded properly. The dishes come out dry for the most part. If a cup has a rounded bottom, water will collect in there and you'll have to dump that and dry it, but that is not a fault of the dishwaher. It is a bit noisy, but that is to be expected with a portable. Its not terrible, but I do have to turn the tv up and such a bit more with it running. There is no indicator for the rinse aid, so you have to keep it full so you......

I bought this dishwasher about a year ago and it has changed my life. Literally, I never new what i was missing. I have an older home so I had to buy a portable dishwasher and it's only disadvantage is it is kinda noisy but I honestly expect that with a portable. Otherwise this is an excellant dishwasher and it has helped me out tremendously....

I've had mine about a year now with no problems. I does an excellent job cleaning dishes (you do have to stack them for good water access, as with any dishwasher). It is a bit louder than most, but if you're forced to buy a portable, that should be far less a concern than freedom from washing dishes by hand. The noise is still not severe and is comparable to some built-in models. My mother has an earlier version of this same model and has had no problems with it for about 10 years now. Excellent appliance and well worth the money....

If you're expecting the same features and quiet performance of a $1200 built-in dishwasher, you're probably going to be disappointed. But this Kenmore 17702 is by far the best portable dishwasher we've owned. It has features found on more expensive machines (such as an exposed heating element), a very nice laminated butcher block top, it rolls like silk across our linoleum floor, the faucet connector is effortless, and most importantly our dishes & glassware come out absolutely sparkling (and too hot to hold!). Just an excellent all-around performer. Some people might fault this model for not including certain features (like a plate warmer function), and for a relative lack of soundproofing (it is noisy but not terribly so). But again, these things should be expected at this price point....

I bought this model for my mother in Jan. 08. Even though the website claims this model has the "quiet package", I assure you, this thing is LOUD! There is no insulation at all. Another issue we had is that the motor needs to be replaced. After many calls to Sears (24 people were spoken with over the course of a month), they did offer to replace the motor at their expense but no consideration was given to provide insulation. Very frustrating experience. Nobody spoken with was willing to take responsibility for the fact that their website had incorrect information listed. The reason why I gave it two stars is because the model is attractive and seems to do an adequate job cleaning dishes....

This is an excellent dishwasher, especially for the price! I cannot think of a negative thing to say about it. It is easy to manuever over to the sink, easy to hook up, washes my dishes great, easy to disconnect and pretty quiet too! What more can you ask for? I bought this dishwasher because I have an older home with a very small kitchen and this dishwasher has made my life so much easier! Works great! Highly recommended!...
