This was the most reasonable oven at the time when we needed one. The drip pans are dificult to remove to clean but the self cleaning oven is a plus. Displays are easily accessible so one knows what is on at all times and it beeps to let you know when it has gotten to temp.

This oven was about the cheapest price drop-in I could find with the discount and delivery rebate. It's ok quality for the price but not exactly "classy" as another reviewer mentioned. It's pretty basic and the metal is somewhat flimsy but seems to hold up and look ok once installed. The only issue I have with the oven is that even if one of the large burners is turned on the surface of most of range gets pretty hot, and with more than one burner on the entire surface gets EXTREMELY hot. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because it is for a duplex I currently live in but will sell or rent soon. If you don't have the money or you are not installing it in your "dreamhouse" I recommend, but otherwise I suggest you spend a few hundred dollars more for a better quality oven with more options and perhaps a "flat" surface easier to clean....

We recently moved into a home which needed much remodelling. After moving in, it became apparent that we needed to purchase a new oven and we were maxed out on our remodelling budget. Sears Kenmore 30 inch Electric Self Clean Drop in oven was the only oven we could find that was not ridiculously high priced. The mail in rebate made this oven affordable and desirable. Once installed, we found this oven not only to be a great oven, but it looks classy and worth much more to us than we paid. I believe you cannot put a price tag on customer satisfaction. We come back for more at Sears!...

I will never buy another Sears Product. The drip bowls are not easy to clean and the top surface is hard to keep keep clean. I called today to order new drip bowls and the cost to replace the four drip bowls is $106.00. I did not order them, but the ones you purchase at home improvement store do not fit well. I purchased this stove only 2 years ago. Never again....

the quality is great, but installation was a nightmare. This range is listed as a 30", but most cutouts in existing homes have to be trimmed at an additional charge. My electrical plug had to be 'floated' for an additional fee. There is a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the stove. Trim work will have to be done for additional charge. talk to a sears salesman BEFORE purchasing online. otherwise great value for the money....

This model is amazing for being the economical line, it has plenty of features to choose from. For instance, the temperature can be changed from Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice-versa. It reaches the temperature set for, rather quickly and it beeps when is ready to use. The top is easy to clean and the displays are readily accessible on the front of the unit, so one knows what is on at all times. Plus the self cleaning oven is a blessing, althought it is on the smaller side. But in overall, I do recommend this product....
