In 2010, I bought 4 major appliances from Sears (I remodeled kitchen) and just a week ago the microwave hood combination went totally dead. Of course the warranty had just expired. The cost to have Sears come out would approx. be over $250+. I believe from the other reviews, this microwave should be recalled. There's should be no reason for an appliance to break down so quickly (with little use). I only use the microwave to heat up vegs. and water. What happened to quality and standing by their products. Also the lighting under the hood is very poor.

Just had this installed and we're regretting it horribly now. Of course the one in the store wasn't wired up so we could see the joke that is the light. It is so dim, I get more light on our stovetop from the adjancent under counter lights than I do from this. The exhaust fan isn't much better. To sell something like this that is supposed to replace a range hood is a crime. How hard can it be to make the light on this thing bright?!?!?!

It's only been a week since we installed this microwave. Works great so far. The only thing I dont like about this is the light. I had a Kenmore Range hood that had 2 powerful lights. As soon as I replaced the Range hood with this one, I noticed a big difference in lighting. While I did not expect to get as much light as my range hood, I didn't expect the lighting to be this bad.

Overall, I've been very pleased with this microwave. The only complaints are the buttons aren't logically grouped for easy use and the over the range light seems to be useless, since it's located at the very rear of the unit.

We purchased a full set of Kenmore appliances from Sears in January 2008. On January 20, 2010 the microwave stopped working. I cannot find a SINGLE positive review of this appliance.

After only just over a year of use something started to burn, there was some sparks and the microwave no longer heats. Its broken and ofcourse the warranty has expired. I suggest nobody buys this product or any Kenmore products. My cooker has silver panels which are peeling off. All I can say Ive never experienced such garbage in the past.

purchased in may 2008, quit working in april 2009, had it repaired it quit working again november 2009 same problem but now not under warranty. would not recommend this product has a major electrical problem.

I purchase this microwave about a month ago at great price of 20% off, very sleek and effective. Two complaints-- it could of been a little quieter and the display pad is very difficult to "press" Ms. Savanero...
