I love my new grill. It is a great grill for the money. Assembly was a bit frustrating at times but it was worth it. It has more bells and whistles than my old grill. The timer is a nice feature and the bottle opener is an added bonus. We'll have to see how the grill handles our Wisconsin winters.

I just purchased a Kenmore 4 Burner Gas Grill with side burner for the the third time in the last 10 years (last one l had it for 4 years and I gave it to my son). At this price is an outsatanding deal not to pass. It included free assembly. I used it at least twice a week and never had any problem, as long as you take good care. I recommend this purchase if you love to grill a lot. Mine is the stainless steel but it comes in two other colors.I hope you enjoy it.

This is my first gas grill and I love it! The electronic igniter makes it so easy to start. I've had it for almost a year and have gone thru 2 propane bottles. I use it 3-4 times a month. The grills are still in good shape. I love it because I can have on whatever burner I want. I haven't used the side burner, but I like all the space on the outside of the grill.

If you are looking for a great 4 burner gas grill, and don't want to spend a *lot* of money, this is the grill for you. Even heating across all four burners with an electronic ingniter, no more matches!. The grills are heavy duty without being too "heavy" and the porcelain coating makes it very easy to clean. Then to top it all off, there's a built in bottle opener and a side burner for cooking any side dishes to serve with the meat.

Of course the "proof is in the pudding" and with a grill the proof is in the flavor. I've always been a big fan of charcoal grilling for that reason. Not sure why, but I've grilled pork ribs, burgers, smoke links, hot dogs and chicken and I can't tell the difference in the flavor. The ribs were tender and juicy and done to perfection is less than an hour!

All in all the grill is working well. My only major problem is that i have called support 4 times and still do not have the correct part needed to install my side burner correctly. I may have to take the entire unit back if they cannot figure this out.

My wife surprised me with this grill last week. Our old one had run its course. I was less than enthusiastic after checking prices and features for a new one. She brought it home and thankfully it was assembled! After reading the reviews here, it seems it was worth the extra money.

For the price, this grill is hard to beat. I appreciate the light metal construction, as we move our grill frequently. It heats quickly and cooks very well. The timer is something my last grill lacked, so it is an added bonus.

We bought this on sale and thought it would be a good quality grill. As luck would have it we finally got a bad product from Sears. Not bad considering 40+ years for me boing a loyal customer. Giving away a Weber...I should have bought another one...it was 12 years old and still worked great. This grill is a very poor design plus it is cheaply made. I don't know who is building this for Sears...but don't buy it. I followed the directions. The part where it says "close the doors" while putting the top half on is no joke. I taped them shut with duck tape, and finished the assembly. When I removed the tape the whole thing almost folded in half. This not Sears fault, they just bought a cheap poor design. I simply returned it and as usual "no question asked". That is why we buy from Sears and a select few others. Check out the Char Broil and Webers at Sears and elsewhere and pass this one up.

Although it was quite difficult to assemble at first, once it was all put together it looked great and the cooking was even bettter. It cooks evenly and is very easy to clean afterwards.

To all comments concerning alignment of parts, thats due to poor assembly. This is a great grill, at a great price. Take your time and read the directions BEFORE your screw it all together and its beautiful.

The grill functions well for the price. The installation instructions could be written better. My problem was that the "rack" which supports the grill was damaged by the sears warehouse. I did notice a tear into the box, but didn't question it at the time. Took the grill home, midway through the installation I saw that there was damage to the grill. I contacted Sears service to let them know the situation, they responded and asked me to conctact them by phone to resolve the matter. While waiting for their initial response, I took matters into my own hands, used a vice grip and some leverage and bent the metal back so I could fit the grill onto the rack. Luckily the damage was at the back side of the grill, so not really visible. I never did follow up with Sears, just didn't want to deal with the whole issue. I am curious what they would have done though...probably would have replaced it but I would of had to disassemble the unit and return it for a new one. Too much of a pain. ...

I read all the horror story's. Bought the grill anyways put it together in less than two hours.I've bought children's toys that where harder to put together. Don't be scared follow the instruction and use a little common sence you'll be just find!!! Happy grillin...

The SS facia rusts and the warrantee does not cover repair or replacement unless it rusts through....

for the amount of money, you can't buy a better grill, that said, it is pretty good.

would i buy again? no - my next grill will cost significantly more and be of higher quality.

would i recommend to a friend? yes

Pros: high btu's for 4 burner (numbers compete with higher quality grills). heats and cooks fast. looks nice like a higher quality grill. stays looking nice with regular cleaning. lots of research prior to buying, this IS the best 4 burner grill for THIS price point. can't beat sears return policy.

Cons: cheap stainless steel (the kind that rusts and pits). casters suck, only one brake (the bbq slides and rolls even when you are just brushing the grills clean). material is cheap and flimsy with some sharp edges. inspect well before assembly - i had to take back 3 in order to get one that was not dented, and did not have a broken gas line. timer never worked, but who cares about that. need to clean inside often - gets build up and lots of flame up. parts that are pre-assembled are...

I got this grill for my boyfriend's birthday and he's absolutely in love with it. The electronic igniter is super convenient. It cooks evenly and looks amazing. It took a little while to put it together, so if you're not handy, I'd recommend having the store construct it for you.

I did a lot of research when looking for a new grill. Our price range was between $200-300 for a medium size grill, and I wanted the best "bang-for-my-buck." I read the Consumer Reports review on grills and saw that this Kenmore grill was a "best buy." Most of the reviews were positive. Since our previous grill was a Kenmore, we thought we'd give it a try. After a week of using it, my husband HATES it! It constantly flares up and consequently burns the food. The metal coverings over the flames are very flat, so any fat or grease that drips or is burned on, flames right up! Our burgers and steaks turn BLACK especially if you close the lid and leave for 2 minutes! I like the look of the grill, the timer and bottle opener are nice, and the size is perfect especially when we have guests. Unfortunately, the pros don't outweigh the cons. I would not recommend this grill to anyone!

When i purchased this kenmore 4 burner gas grill,i was literally blown away by how fast it cooked my food.Compared to my old burner this one is light years ahead.

Its beautiful to look at and i can grill my whole familys food at once.It was a great price for a great name brand unit.I couldnt ask for a better unit or a better present from my wife.She had it all set up for me when i got home.Im a lucky man thanks to kenmore and my wife.

No more to add, but if looking for a good, easy to handle and efficient gas grill, this is the one for you. Worry about the taste from charcoal grills to be lost??? Then just add some mesquite wood chips wet, inside 2 lays of aluminum paper between the burners and the grill. Remember to make some little holes, to let the smoke go toward the food. Delicious!!...

I purchased this grill 14 months ago! I keep it covered when not in use! I bought this grill because it was highly rated, what a mistake. It has totally rotted out on the inside. I contacted sears and kenmore and they will not stand behind their product... I have never owned a grill that didn't last atlease 5 years.
