i get this to replace my 30 gal which is 31 years old, back in 29 jun 07 i was concerns about the 40 gal, i want a bigger size but due to my limited space i have to settle for this one.
to my surprise with the household of 3 (a 9 years old son which he like to take a long shower) there is plenty of hot water left after son, wife shower and do dishes and i still able t to take a hot shower. this size is great for a small space. and i have yet to run out of hot water. the hot water itself was not very hot, i have to raise the setting up to about 125, the manufacture setting was at 120, make sure u read the instruction manue before u change the setting....

That is good so nobody has to take cold showers. Even after I do a couple loads of laundry there is still hot water left to shower....
