Just a few examples: *Reheating Mode: very slow, and in the end, some of your food is very hot, other parts of the food are still cool inside *Speed Cook Mode: Despite using the supplied metal plate, the bottom and top burner and quartz light did not get the fronzen chicken tenders crispy, came out slight soggy and took the same amount of time as cooking in a toaster oven -- no advantage at all *Convection Oven Mode: most convection ovens will reduce your cooking time by 30 - 40%, this one will only benefit your cooking time by 20% -- the same quiche we cook in our convetional oven for 25 minutes, took 20 minutes with this unit. *Microwave Mode: Here is the UNBELIEVIBLE part -- this is a slow microwave by today's standards -- this unit replaced an 8 year old Kennmore Microwave that cooked food almost twice as fast as this unit *One Touch Mode: the popcorn one touch button will leave...... Almost NEVER use my oven anymore. Easy to use, but does require you read the directions if you want to use it to its full capacity. I'd give it 5 stars, except the light burned out inside and its almost impossible to change it. Otherwise, worth every penny. P.S. We never use our oven anymore! We have cooked anything and everything in this thing and it never ceases to amaze me. I consider this a must have for any active family! I do wish it came with an extra metal tray; ours is always dirty and sitting in the dishwasher. We use a round pizza stone in this unit as well.... I installed it myself and had no problems. Runs as advertised. The only feature I would suggest Sears change is the exhaust fan. It is set to sense heat and when I operate the back burner on my gas range, it causes the fan to come on...on high. If Sears would at least allow it to come on on low that would be an improvement. This would not keep me from buying the unit. The rep. at the store, Jim, was great....
