I lucked out when buying this grill as there were 2 small dents on the bottom of the doors, so I basically got it for 1/2 the price. I didn't look for the Infrared Cooking System as it costs more, but glad that it came with the grill. So far the electric igniter works and the food seems to cook faster. We have natural gas, so had to buy the conversion kit, then pay to have it installed, but it's nice not to have to fool with propane gas.

For $600, I was able to get this high-tech grill that has now served me well for two months. I grill at least once a week, and have had no problems. Sears didn't put it together properly, but once I fixed their mistakes, everything's worked fine. I especially like the low probablility of flare-ups (at least as long as you burn off the grease by letting the temp get >700F every other use or more). Grate-level temp gauges are great, too.

My only concern is that the "stainless" steel looks pretty flimsy outside of the hood and grates. This is not the good, heavy stuff that Weber makes, but it's got the technology and patents to be a better product as long as you always cover and properly clean it.

We have enjoyed this grill, not too difficult to assemble. Had a problem when they gave me the wrong color first time around, but later discounted more off of it when I brought it back.

Great big surface, nice hood, accurate temperature readings.

Good price and value compared to more expensive grills.

I originally bought this grill for my husband as a father's day gift. Was disappointed when we first picked it up because I was told it was dual fuel. Come to find out those accessories for natural gas had to be purchased from a local hard wear store. We like how evenly it cooks but notice that you have to use all three burners if you want it to heat up quickly. Also, the meat does have a slightly different taste, not sure why. Overall is a good product.

Bought this grill to replace similar non-infrared. Cut my cooking time down while delivering juicier burgers that seem to stay warmer longer, that is a nice benefit for a large family....
