My husband bought me the Kenmore Seal and Save for my birthday and I have found a new way to save money. The machine is easy to use, easy to clean and when I open an item I have sealed I don't have to worry about freezer burn. I would definitly recommend this to anyone. Great!

My daughter gave me a seal -n-save appliance I now own an appliance that help me become a thirtfy care free out of the kitchen fast cook my seal-n-save can be mounthed on the wall or the cabinet door or wait on the counter top to seal freezable and boilable pouches of food.My seal-n-save appliance and my freezer let me cook when I care to once I started to use my seal-n-save I wouldn't be caught without it To keep the seal-n-save appliance in top working order wipe the unit clean with a damp cloth and clean the sealing bar with a dry paper or cloth. seal-n save saves me time and after I begin to use the pouches I discover another terrific saving more space,the pouches store flat in my freezer.Ilove my seal-n-save appliance,it is worth the money it cost.It is a great investment.

My machine is just over 1 year old. I loved it because it was so easy to use BUT, like others here have noted, the upper and lower gaskets split or tear. No problem, I thought, I'll just order the replacement part that is listed in the manual that comes with the product.

After contacting the parts department by email and then by phone, I found out that they don't bother selling the parts listed in the manual. And it's not as if you're using this thing every day and wear it out. It's something you might use once a month at that.

So now I have a $100 doorstop. Sears used to be known for its quality appliances, but we now shop elsewhere after having a similar problem with a dehumidifier that went dead after about 14 months. So much for Kenmore quality and service.

After having lots of issues with freezer burnt meat, i bought this product today. My main concern was that it would be slow and fiddly to use meaning that it ends up collecting dust in the cupboard. Having used it this evening, i am impressed how easy it was to get started - even for someone with as little patience as me. The fact that you can buy rolls of the bags and cut to size is also appealing as there will be less wastage.

Having read the other reviews i am a bit concerned that it might not be robust and stand up to heavy repeated use, however i have not had the product long enough to have any issues with this yet.

My first Seal-N-Save died after a dozen years. The foam seal came off and I couldn't find one to replace it. But, I figured after that long it was time for a new one anyway. It's a great product and there are now additional features I like...the lock which provides hands free operation and the vacuum hood for canning jars.

I saw the Seal-N-Save online at Sears for $99.99 but at the store it was priced for $119.99. When the salesclerk looked it up at Sears online it was listed for $107.99, which I paid, however, I just saw it again online at Sears for $99.99. That price should have showed up at the store. Not having to pay for shipping helps make up the difference.

Just purchased this Kemore Seal-N-Save to freeze some meats to put in my new freezer. Did a great job, easy to use. With so many to choose from, I feel I made the right choice getting this product. Would highly recommend it.

We have had two Food Savers over the last 20 years. After our 2nd one quit functioning properly I shopped on-line for the Food Saver to see what was being offered. I next visited ****** and ****** to check out what they had. Still not satisfied I then went to Sears where they had the same product made by Kenmore, a brand I trust.

I bought Sears Select Seal-N-Save and used it the very next day and the following day sealing up about 20 1lb bags of pulled pork and Carnitas and one whole butterflied chicken. I am very pleased with the results to date.

I would be more positive about this product if it actually held up to everyday use. It was a great product when it worked. Actually we didn't even use it everyday we bought it last year to put vegetables away in the freezer from our garden and it didn't even make it through season two. That's a total of maybe 12 weekends worth of use. If you can't buy replacement parts why even bother. Sears needs to provide replacement parts, the #1 part available should be the heat strip, most heating elements are going to burn out at some time. I am disappointed since I can remember my mother having a Kenmore sealer back in the late 70's and I can remember it still working when I left the house in the early 90's.

I absolutely love this sealer...its amazing and works so well!. Don't try sealing a whole chicken, the wings restrict the machine from getting all the air out. Works best when used with strips of meat, etc. We were able to get 4 whole corn husks in one bag! Just buy it, you WONT be disappointed.

I was only able to use this product for 3-4 months and the sealing gaskets dried out and was unable to find replacement gaskets. Sears/ K-Mart have no listing on parts for this product and are confused by the model #'s. I wish I'd bought a different brand....

I have had my Kenmore sealer for 3 years now. I love it. I use it constantly and even my neighbors use it. I have never had a problem of any kind with it. I use the vacuum for sealing so many things in my wide mouth jars. It does not work using small mouth jars. Read booklet and follow directions for best results....

I love this machine, but good grief, its almost impossible to get replacement parts. Sears does not recognize any of the numbers on this machine or in the booklet that came with it. After several tries, they finally told me to drive to my nearest Sears store and take the machine with me so they can ID it. I'm Frustrated....

I loved the Seal N Save until I had the actual seal split in half while using, and now no one seems to be able to get the part or part number to replace it. I used it alot until this time and I loved it, but I would hate to think that I have to replace it every year! I got it for Mothers day last year and it has been broke for months, and it is just a simple seal! I have called the customer service number , the Sears repair, Sears parts , Sears store and no one seems to be able to help me!...

Product worked well until the locking tab snaped off. Called mfg and they are to get back regarding the broken tab. They stated that they have not known of this problem in the past but find that hard to believe as the tab is made of 1/16 inch plastic....

This product is great. This is the only way to freeze meats, which is what I will use it for most. Very easy to use. Making your own size bags is a snap! After you get this machine, you will be looking for those "family value packs" in the meat section. Sometimes those prices are 1/3 to 1/2 what regular prices are, so this machine should pay for itself....

We have owned 3 Food Savers over the years and have had problems with each one. We decided to take a chance on the Kenmore model and could not be happier. The quality and the ease of using this Seal N Save is awesome. The Hands Free Sealing is a wonderful option. I would recommend this product to anyone....

I bought one of these for my mom for Christmas this year. She had never used a seal food-saver system before and she absolutely loves it! It was easy to learn how to use, and she now swears by it - she uses a lot because she just cooks for her & my dad and its hard to buy food for just 2. I would highly recommend this....
