We ended up getting a much nicer washing machine than we originally had planned for the same amount of money...including a rebate for free delivery and haul-away! So far, we have been very pleased with the overall performance of this appliance. No bells and whistles, but good load capacity and cycle options...a very functional machine and a great value for the sale price. Also, customer service was excellent, both in-store and delivery...very efficient and helpful, but not pushy.

my mom bought the washing machine when i was 10 yrs old and i was the one responsible for most of the laundry. I went so far as to try washing the dishes in it seeing as it cleaned the clothes pretty good well obviously it didnt work on the dishes but that didnt stop it from working on the clothes when we moved to our new house when i was 13 the maching went with us and we had it until i was 26 and then it broke down but all that was wrong with it was the water pump went bad so we bought a new one and gave the old one away so the washing machine served us well and we have never had a machine last like that one did.

Bought another Kenmore washing machine; previous one was over 15 years old, and have been satisfied with everything about it. I'd say excited about it, but who can be excited about laundry? It cleans fine in every temperature and every type of cycle. I've always been pleased with all the Kenmore products I've purchased.

I recently had to replace my avacado colored Kenmore washing machine. I had had it since the 70s and never had a problem with it until it just finally started leaking water after all these 30 years. Now that is a good probuct!!! I still have and use the matching dryer. I know products are not made that good anymore but as a single mom, I appreciate the many years use I got out of a Sears product....

my mom had 3 kenmore washers in the last 40 years, she only bought new ones when she redid all her appliances for color. All of them worked extrememly well. I have owned 2 in 25 years and just inherited a 3rd. Again I cant beat how clean they get our clothes. they are so sturdy, with a little maintainance as needed from Sears these may very well last a whole generation....

I have been a homemaker for many years. I am married and have raised three children. I have done plenty of laundry over the years. I do as much as three or four loads a day. I had a Kenmore washing machine that we bought from sears. It lasted for twelve years. Let me tell you I washed that poor thing to death. It gave me and my family twelve long years of service. It finally passed away. Well let's tell the truth I murdered it. I loved it so much that we bought a brand new Kenmore washing machine from sears again. It's more advanced than the the one I had before. They have done nothing but improve them over the years. It works great. I must confess though I love it even more than the one I had before. It does not use as much water to clean the clothes as the old one. Because it spins the clothes so efficiently, it takes less time to dry them. It also runs so much quieter. I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's all good....

I love my kenmore washer, my children bought for me for Christmas. It is very good and I am very happy with it. Uses less electric then my old washer. Wouldn't trade it for anything. It fits great in my washer room, since the wash room is very small.

I recently purchased a Kenmore Elite Oasis washing machine. I just love it. I had a Maytag, and we had it for a little over a year. I put my sheets and comforter in there, and it just stopped washing. It took forever to drain the water out. We were unable to wash clothes for about two days, until I was able to get out and get a new one. We had a Kenmore dryer for about 33 years--it was 3 months younger than I was. So I decided to go back to Sears Kenmore. The salesman we had was great--very knowledgeable. He right away said he didn't recommend front-loaders. He recommended this one because he and his wife have it themselves, and he said that they just love it. So do I! It is SO EASY to use! And it's quiet. All you do is push the power button, move the dial to what kind of clothes you're washing, and press start. That's it. It knows the temperature, the amount of water, the time to wash it...everything. And the clothes come out great. I can't wait until......

Latest Kenmore top-loading washers do not produce warm water. I measured the Warm water to 73 degrees. This is "cool", not warm. I tried two different Kenmores (2942 and 2952 washers).

Customer service telephone number was horrible experience. 4 different people, had to tell my story 4 times. The first 3 took 30 minutes, so the 4th time was in the 30th minute plus. That person was not at all concerned with my frustration of the previous 30 minutes. What ever happened to customer service???

Other than that, the machine seemed well-built. But I returned for full refund.
