BlueHighPriestess says "Have to rig it to get it to work well." about Keurig K-Cup Reuseable Coffee Filter

I got this product soon after buying my Keurig Mini when I realized that I was spending a lot of money on K-cups and that I missed drinking my favorite coffee that's made in my local area.

But the K-cup reusable coffee filter didn't live up to my expectations as the coffee turned out very weak because the coffee fitlers through the filter too quickly. So I searched online and found someone who wrote a blog post saying that they tucked a used, cleaned out k-cup inside of this product and it worked well for him. I tried it too and it worked really well for me. It does annoy me though that it has to be rigged to work properly.
...

It is a good idea in theory, but I feel for the price and the mess it can cause, this product should only be sought after by people who have a favorite or hard to obtain variety that is only bagged. The keurig website has hundreds of varieties already portioned for you to eliminate hassle, which is what this machine is meant to do.
...

etaner says "Filter Basket needs help." about Keurig K-Cup Reuseable Coffee Filter

After using the filter for about 3 months (2-3 cups per day), cleaning it after each use, the filter basket is clogged. Neither water nor coffee flow through the filter at the appropriate rate, rendering the coffee maker "useless" as it stops pumping the hot water. Every attempt to clean the filter basket, including using a tooth brush, has failed.
It would be nice if Keurig would offer the Reusable Filter with multible filter baskets, or offered the filter baskets seperatly for purchase. Since I do enjoy my coffee, and the convinience of brewing a cup at a time, I did purchase another filter kit.
Please note, other people may fault the machine for poor performance when using the reusable filter, while in fact it is only that little filter basket causing the problems....
