i purchased 8 kodak easyshare cameras for christmas presents and one for me. my camera has gone everywhere I have gone. Disneyland, deep ocean fishing, and the Grand Canyon. I have never had a single problem with my camera and would use it anywhere. It is very durable. I have dropped it more than once and still beautiful pictures. I recommend the Kodak Easyshare camera to everyone....

This is truly a great camera for the price. Kodak is among the best cameras with a long line of great products, a tradition they continue with this camera. The software was alittle difficult to get to work with windows 7, but I've never had a problem with my camera. I would honestly recommend this camera to any of my friends who are looking for a camera.

I bought this camera as a gift for my mom on her birthday. She absolutely loves it. It takes great pictures and has so many options. I liked it so much that I went back a week later and got me one as well. Great for taking pics of my 2 year old.

I own a Canon digital SLR with several lenses so my expectations of this camera are high. It doesn't disappoint. It can be used simply as a point and shoot, or the settings available give me the choices I need to create my photograph the way I want. It's size means I am now never caught without my camera. We are planning an overseas trip in a few months - this will be the only camera I take, which will leave me needing one less carry-on. I can't say enough to praise the capabilities of this camera and the convenience it provides....

I'm very impressed with everything about this camera. It takes very good pictures and it feels well built. The LCD screen is clear and the camera menus/options are easy to navigate. I especially like the ability to shoot panoramic pictures, its really cool. For the price this is definitely one of the best cameras you can buy! The camera comes with Kodak Easy Share software to install on your computer. It's supposed to help you transfer files from the camera to your computer for editing, but it wouldn't start up on my machine once I installed it. I should note that you don't need the software at all to transfer the pics to your computer, so the bad software is by no means a deal breaker. All in all, I'd highly recommend purchasing this camera if you're in the market for an entry-level point and shoot digital camera....

I just got this camera for christmas and it is excellent. The pictures are great and look very realistic, unlike many other cameras. Anyway, I love the video mode where you can take motion with sound. I would totally recommend this product to a friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

This is the first digital camera I have ever owned. I have two young boys and wanted to be able to capture all of our holiday memories so I did some research and found that this camera had great reviews. It takes great pictures! I have had so much fun with it and have captured some great moments with my kids that I couldn't get with a 35 mm. It's very easy to use and upload pictures. You will need a memory card, because the camera itself only holds about 7 pics, but the memory cards are inexpensive and can hold about 1,000 pics. It's been my best purchase of 2008!...

I absolutely love this camera! I bought the MD853 as a gift for someone last year and they really love that camera, so when I started looking for one for myself, that was what I was going to get. Then Sears had this one on sale with the addition of the AC adapter for easy charging and the price difference made up for itself. It takes great pictures! I have 3 young children so I use it on a daily basis - great for distance shots as well as close ups! It has tons of different picture options which I'm loving playing around with! I would def. recommend to anyone! Love, love, love it!!!!...

This camera is really great! But it doesn't have something like powershot really. You can take 3 pictures fast, but after that it says proccesing. And you can only use image stabilization in camera mode. Overall it's a really great camera to use....

I previously had a M753 which I ruined by submerging in a lake. Replaced it with the M863 and it is much better with low light pix. This camera has a 2.7" lcd screen vs 2.5" on the M853's. I have actually recorded and converted video over to DVD and the quality is pretty good for it being a camera. (640x480 @ 15fps). If you read the reviews on various sites the M853 was rated pretty bad... the M863 is much improved. Everybody who has seen the pix are impressed. This camera does have face detection and does fairly well with auto-focus. Battery life is rated in the 300 pic range, I have never had it die, even after 30 minutes of recording video. The other improvement is that they now inlude a USB AC adapter, you can charge from a USB port or plug it direct into power, older models only could be charged via the USB connection without buying the adapter. The Kodak software is demanding (slow to load) on a slower computer but is fine with newer models....
