ABSOLUTELY BREATH-TAKING!!! The LG 47LH90 LCD/LED finally arrived after only one minor shipping delay (5 days). In less than 10 minutes I had the unit installed & connected to my bundled LG home theater system. I immediately watched "The Patriot" (only Blu-Ray movie I own at this point). The picture quality (right out of the box - no adjustments) is absolutely breath-taking and, the sound from the home theater system is AWESOME!!! High action scenes reveal extremely clear images that I never noticed with my former HDTV (same movie). Sounds of canon blasts (sub-woofer) rocked my inner being!!! I could write pages about my satisfaction with SEARS & these 2 LG products! Oh what a GREAT Christmas to be sure!

Im very detail about buying electronics, i research not just best price,but best quality picture, this 47 inch LED LCD the colors are very close to perfect,contrast is also very good and sound is ok.Stop looking at this price $1299.00 nothing gets closer,dollar for dollar this is the best deal out there.This LG 47lh90 is to brag about.I recommend this tv 100%

I just got my LG LEDTV 240hz yesterday. Was very happy with picture quility when i pop in blu-ray movie " until " fast action motion! There seem to be blur around moveing objects/person.Anyone having the seem problem?I also set the 240hz to low still having same problem til i turn it off.Bammm blur is gone. Whats the point of having 240hz ?

So far this has been a terrible experience, I did catch the TV on sale but had to wait 17 days for it to come in. A coworker purchased his on the same day and only had to wait 3 days. Be forewarned that your warranty starts when you purchase your product not when you pick it up. I had the TV 4 days and now all I get is a blue screen, the service company will come in two days. When the TV worked it had a beautiful picture, I like sports and there was no trailing picture on football or the Nascar race. The picture would be worth the wait if from now on I wouldn't wonder if this is the last time it will work. I don't know if I would buy this TV again and I definitely would not buy it from Sears.

We looked at many, MANY flat panel TV's to buy and this one has THE best picture hands down. The matte finish is another big plus with it as well...no room reflection issues from lamps, etc. The picture is just breathtaking, especially with Hi Def sports watching on cable. So much detail...sometimes it is seems life like and YOU are there watching in person. The clarity is spooky!

We also popped for a home theater that is internet enabled to our wireless home network, so you can stream movies to the LG as well. Truly awesome.

We had also payed the 1999.99 price on 11/7 and the VERY next day it went down to 1299.99. Sears cheerfully refunded the difference! The LG now almost seems like a mis-priced item because I have seen this TV at other places on sale for 1699.99. And Sears service was far greater...really! Hunger and competition really do help the consumer, that's all I got to say.

We bought the LG 47" Led tv on a Saturday for $1999.99...it went on sale on Sunday for $1299.99. Sears did a price adjustment on the Tv when we went to pick it up with no questions asked. What a deal. The TV picture is awsome and I am so happy with the fact that the screen has virtually no reflection on it from other sources in the room. Our 42" Plasma TV just died so..we wanted something different. This picture is comparable if not better than our plasma ever was! It looks great too! Best buy we have made in awhile.

I owned two Sony Bravia Tv's before purchasing this LG TV. I had to replace my 40 inch in the living room because my 4 year old did the famous Wii remote into the panel cracking it. I was nervous going to a 47 inch because it seems like the bigger the screen the more pixely they seem to look. Somehow with the 240 motionflow it makes regular TV look almost like high def. AS compared to my Sony's of the past it definitley looks like high def. on the normal channels. When comparing High def channels with this set as compared to my Sony's it is like night and day. Ihave never seen high def look so realistic. My cabel high def channels look like blue ray they look that great.

Now the sound is a slight issue. You will need to go into the settings and turn the sound level all the way up to 6. If you do that when you adjust the volumn, you will be satisfied with the sound. I was a bit disappointed with the sound until I found the internal level setting and adjusted...

I have nothing but flat panels in my house - Panasonic 32" in den, Panasonic 50" plasma in living room, 46" Sharp in bedroom and 22" LCD monitor on computer. I just bought the LG 47LH90 to replace the Sharp in the bedroom as I'm getting rid of the energy-hog plasma set and swapping it out for the Sharp. Anyway, the new LG is incredible, the picture simply pops off the screen and is so vibrant it's unbelievable. I looked at the new Samsung, Sharp and LG 46-47" LED backlit sets and the LG blew the others away. Sure the Samsung is super-thin but who cares - you don't watch the side of your TV! And a big consideration is the screen itself, after owning a big plasma I never want another shiny surface screen ever, what a reflective pain they are. The LG has a matte surface and is brilliant even in a brightly lit room with windows and glass doors and no annoying reflections - yeah!

And the LG was hundreds less than the Sammy, the Sharp and especially the rediculously high priced Sony. ...

After researching for months, I decided to get the LG 47lh90 and so far I am not disappointed. Sears on line had it cheaper than anyone else including ******** & ******. Also Sears could have in my house in 2 days where as ******** is backed up on orders until December 2009.

As for the TV itself....I could never have imagined just how great the picture is. Watching the MLB playoffs I feel at times like I'm on the field playing at shortstop or wherever the camera angle is shooting from. Watching Hockey games and I feel I'm in the front row. I can actually follow the puck. Football is sureal feeling when I watch that. Not just sports. Every show that I watch in HD is a new experience.

I've heard complaints in reveiws about the sound on LG's. I don't understand. I've had the volume set at about 8 for most shows and hear it just fine, and I have tinnitus. I did try turning it up once and got to about 45 and it was way to loud, but still clear.

At first I thought perhaps I went too big for...

Just bought the TV on Sale at Sears and it was a good purchase. Picture is really good and the sound is great. In fact, the picture looks so natural and real on some shows, you think you are in the same room as the people on TV! A few negatives - which arent a big deal - channel surfing is a little slower than I would like and I havent discovered a way to change the viewing mode very easily. Otherwise, there are a ton of menu options for color and sound too. It took 5 minutes to hook up and very easy to use. I was a little skeptical because this is LG's 1st LED model, but so far I am very happy! I would recommend this TV!

I'm a sears employee and noticed this TV as soon as we got it in and hooked up. I was thinking about a 50" Panasonic S1 plasma but we hooked this badboy up next to it on an endcap and I was set on getting it.

Initially I read all the reviews I could on this particular set and ALL of them were good. People kept complaining about audio sync issue but so far I have no complaints about that. However, I have noticed a halo-ish effect around certain figures when watching HD channels on Dish Network. Very noticible only on that. Playing PS3 or Xbox 360, THE PICTURE IS FANTASTIC! Watching movies as well. Like I said really the only complaint is about the halo-ish effect when watching TV on HD channels. I will try to tweek settings and see if that can be corrected in some way.

Purchased this TV today for $1160 b4 sales tax. It's a beautiful glossy black TV, with a subtle infused blue around the edges. The blue is only really visible in certain light, otherwise it just looks glossy black, but the TV looks beautiful either way. The LH90 series is LG's flagship LCD this year featuring backlit "local dimming" LED's, and in my IMO it's one of the best buys on the market. Local Dimming allows for deeper blacks, that rival good plasmas, and easily beat normal non LED LCD's. The picture on the this TV is fantastic. Beginning last year and continuing this year, LG offers more picture/color adjustments then any other manufacturer. Colors are great out of the box, and your video modes include Standard, Natural, THX Cinema, Sport, Game or Vivid. In addition there are two Expert modes where you can create and save the exact picture you want. Also there is an intelligent sensor mode that automatically adjusts the picture for you based on the ambient light in the room. The...

This is a wonderful TV. I tried the Samsung 7000 series "Edge" LED. There is just no comparison. The Samsung picture bleed and you could notice light leaking through the corners of the screen. The LG 47LH90 has none of these issues. The picture is uniform and natural looking. The features you get on this tv for the price is amazing. The "Local Dimming LEDs" make all of the differnece in the world.

I am positive that LG created this tv to take away market share from the competitors. With this picutre and the quality of the television in general they are sure to become the next leader in LED LCD technology.

The only thing I wish this television had was internet capabilities; however, I would take a fantastic picuture over that any day.
