I purchased a set of Mainstays sheets for my son when he decided to change the look of his room. He previously had Pottery Barn sheets which we loved and were so comfortable. Going from those sheets to the Mainstys sheets was such a disappointment. What attracted me to these sheets was the price. Well I guess you get what you pay for. As soon as I got them out of the package I noticed that they felt rough but I was hoping that would go away once washed, it didn't. The sheets faded after being washed which really took away from the look we were going for. The worst part is that after a few washes the sheets started to pill. It really bothered my son having his face on the pillow cases that were lumpy from the pills. Needless to say the sheets were only on his bed for a couple of months before we finally threw them away. Please learn from my experience. If you want soft and comfortable sheets this is not the way to go.

Sears Mainstays For The Home 200 Thread Count Sheets hang the competition out to dry(get it?). Aside from the bad humor, these 200 thread count sheets are a fantastic value for the money. I took a chance and purchased four sets and was definitely, pleasantly surprised when they arrived.

The sheets were soft and so far, seem pretty durable. There hasn't been any fabric pilling or threads coming loose. These sheets are not 100% cotton, but are a cotton/poly blend, if you are one of those cotton only snobs, you should look elsewhere for bedding. The sheets are very soft for a 200 TC set, but if you have a mattress topper you should buy one size larger as the sheets are somewhat shallow fitting. They fit nicely and do not come free without the topper, though. These are a great value, especially if you are lucky enough to snag them while they are on sale. Buy a few sets as you can't go wrong with these Mainstays sheets. These sheets are sweet!

I have purchased 200 threadcount sheetsbefore and they were rough to the touch, comfortable. The feel is that of a much more expensive, higher thread count. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have purchased 200 threadcount sheets in the past but these are by far the most comfortable. They hold the body temperature in and don't allow it to escape keeping my wife and myself nice and warm on those cold winter nights. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The sheets are very soft, was and dry very well. The darker colors tend to fade a little after multiple washes but still fit very well.

These Mainstays sheets are a good value. They are by no means incredible, but for the price you can't beat it! No, you won't be using these sheets in 30 years, but who really wants to use sheets for that long anyhow? I have some that I've used for 5 years & they still have plenty of life in them! They fit the mattress well & I've not noticed any loss of color. If you want a cheap sheet just for everyday- these are it!...
