I got this for my birthday a few years ago from my brother. He got it so I could listen to music on the patio or while I'm sitting in the sun in the back yard. I use it for those things but I also use this speaker on a regular basis in the house also. I LOVE it!!!! (I am listening to it as I type this review!!) I have always said I am going to get a 2nd one and never got around to it. Today I decided to look for it on Sears' website and found out they are not selling them anymore! :( Please, please, please Sears....contact the manufacturer and sell this wonderfully, amazing speaker again!!!...

I wanted something for my ipod like a traditional boombox or something. I happened to be browsing at Sears, and came across these. They were on $ale to boot for $49 bucks!! I ordered a pair because the regular price was about a hundred or so FOR ONE.. I have to say, this was the first time I've ever bought anything without holding, touching it, etc. first. Th reviews for these speakers said it all. THESE THINGS CRANK!! Decent sound quality and way-better than average battery life (got a whole weekend out of them on 1 charge)

I have had people come up to me on the beach and ask where I got them. I said, "SEARS"

NOTE: (this is for the poeple @ Sears if you actually read these things . . . WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU STOP SELLING SOMETHING AS FANTASTIC AS THESE?? I have to say that every-single-person that has seen these speakers in action has commented on how great they sound.

I don't know if I get the 150 foot range for the wireless function or not, but the only way these...

This indoor/outdoor speaker is awsome. I bought it mostly because it was a waterproof outdoor wireless speaker. I have used this for my daughters parties and outside on Halloween. It is easy and fun to use. The battery lasts a really long time before needing to be charged.

My family loves, loves, loves this system!

I bought this so I could hear music throughout the house, or outside while barbecuing, I was surprised to find how easy it was to set this speaker up. I would definitely recommend it.

Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) that has heard these things has said, "Ive got to get a pair of these!" In fact, this is the 1st time I ever bought something without seeing it in person or knowing someone that has one etc. I bought 2 of these online just by reading the reviews. (I know Sears would always let you return 'em if they didn't work) I bought 2 because I prefer STEREO Sound over MONO. When 2 of these are going at the same time, the sound is incredible! One by itself is still good, but you can really fill a huge area with sound if you have 2 going at the same time. For the life of me, I can't figure out why these things aren't on the Sears website any more. You won't find a portable, rechargeable speaker system for your iPod (or any other sound source) that kicks out the sound & volume of these things anywhere, PERIOD. I got them for $49.99 each, & the regular price said $149.99. Maybe the regular price is a bit high, but even @ $75 each, these things would...

I bought one of these a while back when they were on sale for $99 as an afterthought while at Sears. Thought that in looked cool and seemed like it might be something we could get a little use out of. WELL... little did we know that this speaker would be the centerpiece of our multimedia enjoyment. Mind you, we got ours for $100 and went back and bought a second one a week later. We plug the transmitter into our pc, turn on our Napster account, put a speaker on each floor of the house and jam all day! We also use them when we have outdoor movie days on our block. We plug it into the dvd player, put one on either side of the street and the sound is amazing! Since more than one speaker will work off of just one transmitter, it's like having surround sound anywhere. We also use them at the drive-in with the FM radio feature on our mp3 player so we don't have to turn the car radio on and blast those speakers. Literally we have sold more of these just from people seeing them. The battery life......

I bought this speaker for my husband and it is now his constant companion. He takes it everywhere and he couldn't be happier. The sound is awesome, the portability is wonderful and the ease of use is perfect. He can take it with him anywhere he goes - the beach, the desert, the backyard, the pool - where ever and the sound is amazing. It took my non techie hubby 20 seconds to set it up and start listening to music. It was the best $49.00 I ever spent....

If you ever get a chance to pick up a few of these wireless speakers, you'd better do it fast. These speakers are the best sounding speakers I've heard for the price. I can't say enough about the quality and the workmanship of these speakers. Everyone who has heard them on my deck have went out to Sears and either purchased a set or have tried to purchase a set. It has transformed my deck into a seperate listening room. As soon as I can find them available, I will definitely buy another set or two!!!!!!!!...

Bought one of these for my daugher's birthday last month. She wanted an ihome, but they seemed to be of very poor quality and overpriced, so we settled on this because it sounded pretty good in the store, it was on sale for $79.99, and it was the color she wanted. Didn't even know at the time that it was wireless and had built-in rechargeable batteries. I've got to tell you, the sound quality on this thing is incredible. Nice rich, deep bass. Almost sounds like a Bose. Hook it to your laptop and listen to live streaming internet radio stations. Use with ipod anywhere, anytime. Anyway, throughout several barbecues and family events, everyone who heard my daughter's was immediately impressed. When the price dropped to $49.99 a week later, I bought two more, got the word out, and family and freinds purchased 11 more for themselves!! Don't miss out on this product if there are any left. Like the Sham-Wow guy says: "I don't know?, this thing sells itself" I hope Sears continues to carry this......

Between me and my husband we have purchased a total of (3) of these speaker systems. If you haven't already purchased this item chances are you're out of luck and will not be able to find this system anywhere, which means you have missed out on a great deal. After reading the great reviews on this system I decided to buy it, because I was looking for something that I could use outside for a family reunion to play my iPod and would put out a good sound. This system is everything I was looking for. The sound is great and the instructions are as easy as pie. After listening to this system my husband went out and purchased one for himself to carry with him when he is outside working on his car or just kicking-it with the fellows. This system is selling like hot cakes. I wanted to purchase one for my brother, but I could not find a store within 60 miles of where he lives that had any left in stock, so I just purchased the last one here in my area and I will have to ship it to him. Our new home has a back patio that was yearning for sound. And now, without the drilling of holes, the pulling of wires, and the plugging of said holes, I have portable sound, that can literally go anywhere. At first, I was disappointed that it's merely a single speaker tower, and not a stereo pair. But realisticly, I'm not looking to create a sound stage in my back yard, I'm merely looking for music for entertaining my guests. And look, if you really want stereo sound, just buy a second one, connect the transmitter to left and right audio, set them for different channels(you have 3 to choose from) and you're in stereo! I hope these are still around at the end of summer, I just might have to buy a second one....

My wife and I were looking for a good outdoor speaker for our iPod that we could use for our trips to the beach and for our patio. We have friends that have various other systems that either did not have enough output (watts) to hear when outside or used up an ungodly amount of batteries. This system solves those problems as it has a self-contained battery that charges pretty quickly and allow you to take it anywhere and have music for 10+ hours!!! Can't say enough about this system. If you are looking for a powerful system that can hook up to you iPod or even CD/DVD player don't look at anything else. This COLLUMN of SOUND truly ROCKS!! BTW - very durable casing as well that is perfect for the beach, camping, picnics etc....

We hooked up these speakers to the house stereo and set one in the backyard and one in the front yard for a recent graduation party. As long as they are all on the same channel you could add even more speakers in more areas. Great sound, great distance, great buy! Also works great with ipod! The fact that they are rechargeable is a big plus. These will be our music source of choice when camping this summer....

We needed speakers for our kid's ministry at church so we could have a decent sound for our praise and worship time outdoors and were amazed at the sound that comes out of these things! I bought this speaker for my husbands Birthday. We wanted something for outside for yardwork and hanging outside. We hooked it up to our receiver in the house and we now listen to cd's, The Tv and the Radio, not to mention the super easy hook up for our mp3 player. The quality of this item is A+and the sound is Great! The distance it ranges is Perfect we can listen to it anywhere on our 1 acre lot.We paid 79.99 on sale at sears and it was worth every penny, we also purchased the 3 year protection plan for an extra 12.00.Glad I listened to the reviews!...

cant beat the price its worth it i take it 2 my games at the park and always have people asking me where i got it from!! i feel like a sales person recommending all my friends to buy it! sounds great! if you plan to stay out long outside with it i recommend you purchase a extra battery!it also sounds great in da house when you add it to your tv for surround or playing video games da quality is sick!!!i could keep on but then im gonna want a commision!!lol...
