I bought the Nerf Nstrike Vulcan gun last July for my son's 9th Bithday and it's still around with all pieces intact! He has had so much fun it holds a lot of bullets in the feeder. It's funny cause other kids bring out their nerf gun and then he brings out this monster gun that can be hand held or sit on a tri pod with a feeder that holds more bullets than they own and they just look at him like you gotta be kidding. It takes D batteries and they last a long time. He's used it many times to play nerf games with his buddies and I've only replaced the batteries once. It was a great deal and very durable.

Okay most people would think a Vulcan nerf gun would be epic. The truth of the matter is that it is, it is the only belt fed blaster nerf has ever made. Its spare belts are cheap compared to clips for the clip system blasters. And it looks ridiculously cool. However it has a tendency to jam if you don't have someone feeding the belt or if the ammo chain is not in the ammo box. Similarly it doesn't shoot far, hampering its effective use as an emplacement gun if other people can pick you off while your gun cant hit them. If you want a better auto blaster go for the stampede, if you want an cooler looking blaster go for the vulcan.

My son is 3 years old and loves guns, swords, etc. This gun is wonderful for him because he doesnt have the strength needed to pull back the launching mechanisms on most nerf guns, and this gun is automatic! It does have a manual pullback feature, but he doesnt use it. It does take a few minutes to locate all the darts after it launches them and then to reload the belt. But we bought extra belts and darts from another major toy store and we just load numerous ones up at a time so he can quickly reload. We own 2 of these guns so daddy and him can sit across the room with their little pillow forts trying to shoot each other lol Its a good gun. The only bad things is that sometimes Nerf will make their darts slightly longer than average and if you get a batch of these darts then they can jam up the guns auto feed feature. Fortunately, if you DO have a batch of these, then all you need to do is call the Nerf company and they will ship you replacements free of charge immediately. We had bought...

Bought this for my 11yr old nephew a while back he has quite a few nerf guns already but this is the only one he really plays with now! Keeps them entertained for hours!

My son loves this toy. His friends play army out in the yard and my son can creep down in the bushes and attack his friends with this one. It's fast but not too fast and the darts it shoots aren't hard. It's great fun for your older kids but it takes a long time to reload

Nerf usually makes good products and I don't usually have a problem with any nerf guns.. but this one broke on us. The stand is not durable at all. its a pain to load also.

This Nerf has an automatic 24 dart valve that shoots out as much as 3 per second. Perfect toy for kids!

I got 2 of them, and they are great! The only problem is the chain only has 25 darts. The gun is extremely durable. I dont know why other people say its a bad gun though....

What a big disappointment! Imagine my son's disappointment when he opens the vulcan and it doesn't work. At all! This is all he had been talking about through Christmas and now he is heartbroken. Do not waste your money....

We have an actual nerf compound in our basement and usually I have no complaints with the products, but this one didn't work right out of the box. The toggle switch to make it go from single shot to multiple shot doesn't work. I found a special before Christmas with extra ammo (50 rounds) and 2 belts, so I'm having trouble locating another one to exchange mine with....

This product i got for my brother and when he got it out and played with it for like 20 minutes then it broke. this a bad gun and tht breaks easily. I would no recomend it to anyone looking to buy....
