I had a Nikon before this one. They're comparible. I was a little disappointed with the camera, but it has been a decent point and shoot camera.

I got this a couple years ago for a birthday present and I absolutely love it! I take it everywhere with me. The pictures come out nice and fine,there's the optical zoom feature which is great,except if you zoom in too much the picture is a little blurry. I also took this to a couple concerts. one of them you could take pics but the flash had to be off,and this camera didn't take horrible pics with the flash off.I have a case for it and I have not damaged this once,keep it in good condition because it's awesome.

Bought the Olympus -7.1 MP digital camera recently.This is a very good buy.This camera takes excellent pictures.The pictures are very clear and precise.I have owned several cameras in the past and this camera is the best one.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase a new camera.

This is a great camera. I have had it for three years. The color is excellent and the image is sharp. In fact I have used some of the images in my displays.

This is a very small, rugged camera. I would suggest that you get the "Olympus" brand xd card so all the caler's features work. This is true about ANY Olympus Camera. (Only Olympus Cards have the coding to activate their panorama feature.) I would also purchase additional xd cards i Olympus and Fuji and the only manufacturers which use the xd card and they are designing cameras to use other formats.)

I am a passionate photographer who owns several cameras. I am usually a Nikon loyal, but was drawn to the Olympus FE-230 because it is so compact. It really is the size of a deck of cards! My favorite feature is the over/underexposure adjustment. It's very easy to quickly change the look of your image with this control. Being able to turn off the auto flash is a nice feature as well. I like to use available, natural light. I don't really use the zoom feature too much, but appreciate the macro and super macro mode. The battery life is pretty good, but I recommend you get a spare. Once it dies, it takes a few hours to charge. By having an extra one in your bag, you won't miss a beat. You can pick up one online at B&H Photo for about $40. Happy Shooting!...

I love this camera. It was so easy to use right out of the box. The pictures are wonderful and the zoom is fabulous. I would readily recommend this camera to anyone. The size is perfect to take anywhere. The viewing screen is nice....

I needed a new camera, and I had to find one that was compatiable to Windows Vista, this camera is. It is a great camera. It is easy to use. I Love all the options that it has, and the quality of the pictures are great. I love the small size of the camera, it fits great in your pocket. The software downloaded with no problem, it was quick and easy to set up....

I was very undecided about purchasing a digital camera. My cat broke old 35mm. I did alot of research and I decided the ease of use is what sold me. I also trust the Olympus brand of products. I intend to be using it for a long time....
