      <description>&lt;p&gt;We bought a Philips 42&quot; 1080P a year and a half ago, when suddenly one day we had no picture.&#160; We've since sent it out for repair, where a HD TV tech couldn't trace down which &quot;board&quot; was bad.&#160; Another tech., after ruling out all simple and cheap fixes, now says the same thing....a bad &quot;board&quot;...depending on which one the part could be $175 to $450...add labor to that and your practically talking a new TV......Of course the TV's out of warranty.....Can only say that my Philips is a lemon...and get the extended warranty if you ignore my story.....&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
