AVOID! Spend more money on a better unit.

Read the other bad review - that's the truth. I've used this all of 3-5 times in the time I've owned it. The trigger leaks profusely, and I'm not into having to go to hardware store, do o-ring replacement on something that's not old at all. The cleaner solution never seemed to mix properly either. So, I'm left with this big hunk of junk. I believe this is a chassis that's made overseas and used under many different brand names with different shaped housings - identifiable by the cheesy ON/OFF switch.

Better off with one of those scrubber brooms and cleaner solution/water in a bucket!

I actually bought this exact power washer ************, and not Sears... either way its the same thing...

Out of the box it was great, used it for a few hours and no issues..

The next day I notice water seeping out of the back of the gun handle, fix that problem (bad oring)... then it starts going off and on, eventually it burned itself up and smoke billowed out of it and made the entire neighborhood smell like burning plastic.

Don't waste your time or money.. I went and bought a gas powered powered washer with a Honda motor on it..
...

I upgraded to this one after returning the 1600 psi model 3 times. It leaked water from the pump right of the box and did not have any pressure. I grew tired of taking these things back to Sears ( Its a 50 mile round trip) so I just got my money back. 4 pressure washers and I still havent got my 16' x 16' deck cleaned.

I have to say the local store was very helpful and gave my money back with no problems. Still searching for a decent electric pressure washer. My first one lasted 8 years and was made in the USA.
...

Hello from Brooklyn, NY. The product is really good and actually works better than I anticipated. I have had it for a year now and have not experienced any issues so I can say this is a reliable product. I use it for many jobs around the house such as cleaning the siding, degreasing the garage floor, cleaning grill racks, washing my car (light pressure on body of car or you'll strip layers off your coat), and cleaning masonry (really revitalized the concrete outside the house). The soap dispensing feature works well too, but the specialized detergents are not cheap. The product design may look a bit funny but this a heck of a pressure washer.
...

After having two Karcher pressure washers fail for electrical reasons (they won't work if they won't start!), I purchased this model last summer (2009). Given my previous experience, I bet 15% of the purchase price that it would fail within two years, and sure enough, it did.

It worked great. all summer I really liked the connector for the garden hose. Then it sat in my garage all winter. When I brought it out for the first time this spring, water sprayed out of the gun housing. The motor would not stop because of the low water pressure. I took the gun apart but could not see how to fix it.

My recommendation: buy the Sears Product Production Plan for any electric pressure washer. Odds are you'll need it.

Purchased in May 2009. Have at least 50 hours of service on it this year. Bought this to powerwash a large deck. Then ended up powerwashing a driveway prior to sealing, washing down house trim before painting and other home projects. Works great. Easy to assemble. Well worth the investment. Would definitely recommend.
...

This washer was great while it lasted. As I sit here typing this I am hoping that the adapter plug drys out. I couldnt figure out why it would run for a few minutes and then turn off. I checked everything and noticed moisture coming out of the mail prongs on the plug adapter. I open it up and its FULL of WATER. This could have been dangerous! Maybe mine was just defective, the seal looks intact, I dont know but be cautious.

I bought this for one thing in mind. To wash my car, Nothing bothers me more than a car that looks dirty. I choose this one cause it needs no gas and im not one to put a gas can in my car, just the thought of it spilling in the truck would drive me nuts. So as you can tell I keep my car clean inside and out.
The unit is really nice. Everything snaps and locks in place fast and easy. It is not that loud and is lite to carry. The wheels are ok for rolling it around. For 27 bucks I bought a 3year warrenty. The reason i went with it is that i have never had one of these before. now most of the time if something breaks it happens in the first year, But it was cheap to go with the 3year. The unit has a dial on front to adjust the amount of soap or what ever you put into the built in tub on the back of the unit.
I really was Glad i choose this unit. It works well and i cant wait to use it again and again....

After many years of using my gas powered washer to wash my cars I started to get tired of the tune ups, stale gas, connections vibrating loose and the noise! Today she finally died and that gave me the xclnt excuse to splurge on a new washer. I was looking at an electric Karcher but the ease of going to Sears and the Sears warranty sold me over the Karcher with the same PSI rating. I LOVE this thing, I washed both BMW's and my truck today!

The package comes with 2 wands with different PSI ratings and your typical tips. One tip is a serious soap foamer and that thing is money!! Don't wet your car like we normally do, start by covering it with foamed soap and let the soap soften the dirt and grime for 5 to 10 minutes, froth it again and then switch tips and do a high pressure rinse, this will insured that all grime and grit is rinsed off your car before you get to it with a nice soft handled brush.

Instead of using a bucket of soapy water like I normally do, I just foamed the car one more......
