I wasn't happy with the aluminum pressure cooker I bought last month. I found this one today and really like it. It has the jiggle regulator which I like. If you are looking for a pretty good pressure cooker at a good price I think this one is a good choice. It's not as heavy duty as my old one but it was 30 years old. I'm looking forward to using it again tomorrow.
...

By far the best pressure cooker I have ever used, I just made the BEST pork shoulder I have ever tasted and it took only an hour.

If you are an experienced cook, chef or just learning how to cook you realy need one of these cookers, It's like cooking with clay or ceramic pots without the long wait, The flavor and the tenderness of meats, and vegies crisp or soft, however you prefere and a must have if you like to make you own preserves or stews.
...

I just really considered buying a pressure cooker. I saw an infomercial for a very expensive one, but I dont want to put that kind of money out just yet. I looked around and Sears had this one. I insist on Stainless Steel for all my cookware, so this one fit that bill too.

I bought a Pork Roast two days ago and before freezing it I slow cooked a portion of it. It was pretty good but even after hours of cooking, though it was tender, it was 'dry' tasting.

I just thawed another portion of that same roast, cut it into 1/2" thick strips, tossed it in this pressure cooker, brought it up to temp, cooked for 4 minutes and very honestly the meat isnt dry to the taste at all and turned out much better than the larger piece I cooked most of the day before.

I'll have to learn the tricks of pressure cooking, for sure, but I couldnt be happier with the cooker itself. Tender Pork Roast in 4 minutes, who would have guessed.
...

I read a ton of reviews on this pressure cooker. I also did research on what I needed. I finally settled on the Presto 6 Qt. I actually read the manual and just jumped in. It's amazingly easy and not scary at all. There are more advanced pressure cookers, to be sure. But if you're looking for a basic pressure cooker for a great price, then this one is it! The only thing I wish I had done was to get the 8 quart instead of the 6. I read several reviews which mentioned that the bigger was preferred, but I thought since we're only a family of 3 that the 6 qt was more than enough. It is enough, but it would still have been nice to have the 8 qt. Then I could have made extra big batches of chili, soups, etc. to freeze. Also, since getting my pressure cooker I've looked into canning which I'm going to start doing. The bigger size would have also been better for that. But honestly, this is a great little cooker....

This cooker is fantastic. I'm a 30ish male and bought this to try pork tenderloin. It cooks fork-cutting good tenderloin in 30 minutes or less if you cut it up. I use a Lipton Onion Soup Mix and 1.5 cups of water, pressure cook it, let it cool down on its own, and then eat!!

It's not dangerous!! Make sure to read the instructions of WHAT NOT TO COOK, and how to use this, but it's EASY and is the single most important tool in my kitchen for cooking. I've done veggies in 2 minutes, bannana and apple cinnamon, spaghetti sauce, chili, rice (be carful with rice and beans), and a lot of other good stuff.

Read the directions when you get this, but try it!! It's been in homes for 50 years or more and I can't believe I never used it until I was in my 30's!!!...

This cooks much faster than other cookers. It is one of my most valuable kitchen items. I recommend this to any one who wants to buy the pressure cooker. It is a little expensive than others but the quality is much better than the others....
