I was surprised by the height just at the first click (@ 7.9 ft at top of canopy). This allowed me to add lighting & not have my fiance (6.6 ft) worry about hitting the bulbs. I set it up alone (5.2 ft woman) with no problem. Have the Quik Shade canopy leg weights & used them to secure on concrete floor & through winds it never moved. Told my neighbor & they ordered 2.... One of the support arms was not attached properly and became caught in side support causing it to bend. We attempted to straight and it broke. So much for easy set up....
