The Rival 5.5 Slow Cooker is just the right size for family meals. The Slower Cooker is easy to use and has helpful directions for easy recipes. The Slow Cooker works well to remove middle section and bring to the table. Cleaning is easy for both the middle section and inside/outside of the cooker....

Overall the Rival 5.5 quart Slow Cooker works well and is dependable, but the handle on the lid came off after just a couple dozen uses. The insert and outer warmer are easy to clean and the product appears to keep tempetature well.

this rival crock pot is a life saver. with working different hours it is so nice to come home and dinner is ready. the no fuss clean up makes me want to use it every day. and easy to store or just leave on counter.

I have many slow cookers but this one is my favorite. It cleans easy and is great for when you want to cook on the go. Just put it on before work and your dinner will waiting for you hot and ready when you get home.

I have been using a crockpot for 25 years, but I wanted something bigger and with the option to warm food.This seemed perfect. A pretty, white removable stoneware crock with enough space to cook a decent szed meal. A "warm" setting to hold food without overcooking.

The problem: on the "low" setting (within 15 minutes) liquid came to a rolling boil, so the meat was basically boiled and completely cooked within 2 hours. Leaving this appliance unattended would have been like leaving something on the stovetop at a high temperature, so completely defeated the purpose of a slow cooker.

rival slow cookers are great for on the go people. I have 3 different sizes,use them often specially in summer for roast also use in winter for soups,chili. Just put all ingredients in slow cook for day while at work come home to meal fully cooked and hot.the smallest one is good for heating salsa,cheese wizz,chocolate, etc.for dipping chips,fruit,etc in evening.love them and recommend to all

My friends think we ordered dinner one evening, the stew WAS THAT GOOD! You can cook in a pan or pot any day but if you are looking for fat free, healthy alternative cooking avenues, look no further. Slow cooking the veggies and meats or JUST veggies will add those nutrients to your diet that processed foods just don't contain. On top of that, you will actually be able to tickle your taste buds with new flavors that you'll soon crave! Don't blame me if you start losing weight after you use this Rival Slow Cooker!

I received a rival crock pot 35 years ago as a wedding gift. After much use, the new one is so much easier to clean with a removable crock. There are endless recipes for a busy home and family.

My Mom bought the Rival crockpot for us and I wonder how I ever lived without it. The large 5.5 quart capacity allows me to cook everything from spaghetti sauce, to a whole chicken! With a fast warm up time, and both low and high cooking settings I can get things going and then leave them to cook on low while I am at work. I particularly love the keep warm setting. It is perfect for keeping soups etc warm fromthe time they are done cooking until we eat. Who needs scented candles when you can have the delicous aroma of a wonderful dinner when you get home.
