I joked that if he guessed what he got it would go back, but I never thought it would come in the factory marked box :( - and the kids and him couldn't wait. So, it got opened the day it came. Anyways - it is great... just pick up the toys and let it go. It gets all the crumbs and eventhing we don't see. The floors are nice and clean when it is done & with wood floors and 3 little kids (4 yr, 3 yr and 18 mo) that can be a task sometimes. We haven't had any troubles with it - for us it has been a super help, one less thing to do everyday... oh what a help!! Thing I can't believe it that if it can fit under it - it makes it's way under, cleans and finds it's way out again... it's so cool. Super great buy - have recommened it already!... Roomba customer service are very helpful for the 1st year. After that, they are no help. Good luck, as I am purchasing another roomba from Sears, 405, I had a bad charger that burned out my circuit board, be careful with unpluging the charger when its not in use, as my wires separated from the cable this is what caused the short....
