You can't go wrong with the Rowenta brand. A great, efficient iron. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive models, but it gets the job done smoothly and easily. My cat has knocked it off the ironing board twice but it still works great! Very durable.
...

This is the best quality iron on the market. I love its 3 way automatic shut off, comfort handle,anti-drip system, automatic steam control, self clean system and its stainless steel precision tip that gives me optimal ironing results. I am confident that I will not have to buy another iron as long as I live.
...

After reading some of the very scary reviews on Rowentas, I took the dive and bought one. I absolutely love it! I have had no problems thus far (I've had it for about two months now). I will say that I checked the bottom of each Rowenta model to see where it was made. I avoided anything made in China and got the least expensive one that was made in Germany, which was the Focus. It steams beautifully and heats up quickly. If I experience any unusual problems, I will put another review up, but I am optimistic.
...

LLL35806 says "LEAK, LEAK, LEAK" about Rowenta Focus Iron

Similar to some of the other reviewers, I owned this iron for a little over a year when the leaking started. I fill the iron and within 15 minutes it has all leaked out. Dispite having the words "anti-drip" boldly printed on the side of the iron, my Rowneta Focus doesn't just drip IT LEAKS LIKE CRAZY. The leaks are not coming from the steam holes but from the base of the iron. When the iron is upright, all the water leaks out before the iron even gets hot. You would think a $90 iron would come with a better warranty. It you can tolerate the leaks, its a good iron. Good steam output for quick ironing. I wish I had read these reviews before I made the investment....

This iron worked fine for a while. I think that because of the price, the warranty should last longer. I noticed a puddle of water on my basement floor recently and thought it was a leak from upstairs. I lifted my iron and noticed that there was water leaking from the iron. I had filled the iron with water maybe 1 hour prior to noticing the puddle because I knew that I would be ironing soon. I lifted the iron and the water was dripping at a steady pace. I really liked the iron prior to this incident. I've never dropped the iron and I'm the only one in my household that uses that iron. Oh well....

I purchased the Rowenta Focus iron when my Rowenta Professional iron went out. This is a good iron but if I had it to do all over again, I would probably go back to the Rowenta Professional iron. It was a much heavier iron and it seemed to get a better crease than with the Rowenta Focus. I do; however, like the narrow point for getting in between bottons,etc....

The Focus Iron is great! I originally was debating this or the Rowenta Advancer. However, this iron had better reviews. Like some other reviewers have said....it uses alot of water and you will have to refill everytime you iron. However, the steam you get from the iron is well worth it. From a person who irons alot.....it's a quality steam iron worth its price....

The first time I used the iron, substantial build up occurred on the soleplate. I purchased the Rowenta cleaning kit and was unable to get it off after 2 applications. The second time I used the iron, the buildup was substantially worse. Even though the iron did a fairly good job, for the cost of this product, I would not recommend it and am vey disappointed in it....

Didn't appreciate having the auto shut off. The iron would shut off before I'd finish ironing my fabric. There wasn't even a lot of time off from the iron being in motion. A few
streams of excess water too. Quality not all good for the price....

Really puts out steam and spray, and readjusts to various temperature settings quickly. The narrow pointed front of the iron lets you get into small areas. Ironing definitely goes more quickly....

After only 8 months this iron leaks like a sieve. I admit I iron a lot, just for my family, but I think an iron of this price should last at least a year! The warranty is pretty worthless. It is only for one year and then after repairs you only get the remainder of the time since original purchase. By the time you factor in the cost of shipping it might as well NOT have a warranty. I challenge any company to make an iron that last me a year!...

This is my 2nd Rowenta iron. I purchased a refurbished one many years ago and it worked flawlessly. When it stopped working, I bought a Black & Decker from a pharmacy. Needless to say I was not pleased. The Rowenta Focus Iron meets all my needs. Ironing is not my favorite thing. Therefore I like an iron that gives even heat, lots of steam and has a sprayer. The Rowenta Focus Iron, has not dripped and its easy to read signal lights lets me know when it is safe to use. Only one or two passes is necessary on most fabrics, which shortens ironing time, something I like. All in all the Rowenta Focu Iron is worth every penny....

This Iron is fantastic. It heats up quickly and is a dream come true. With the amount of steam that is blasted out of all the small holes it seems to glide over the cloth. My husband and I have a wardobe that consists of 100% cotton or Linen. I refuse to pay the high prices for dry cleaning as I did in the 70's and 80's. When I was a young girl, late 50's and 60's, I stood at the iron for what seemed to be hours as my mother and father worked and ironed everything from sheets and pillow cases to skirts and shirts for a family of 7. I lost the art until now. I get a great deal of satisfaction after only minutes of ironing a heavy cotton shirt for my husband that looks like new. I love looking crisp and fresh when we step out of the house. I work 40+ hours as week and drive 85 miles one way each day to work so it's not like I have time on my hands and that's the beauty of this iron it's FAST. This iron uses alot of water but NOT DISTILLED and that's ok by me as the steam is wonderful and......

This is the best iron I have ever owned. I have had other top brands supposedly with the same features as this iron. All did not work like this iron. If you like steam, you will love this iron. Gets out even the toughest wrinkles. The steam vents are all over the underside of the iron which is what you need. I highly recommend this iron....

This iron can really get the job done. I especially prefer the temperature indicator light. It has saved me the guess work of either burning my clothes or the frustration of trying to iron with an iron that is not up to the adequate temperature. In addition, steam, steam and more steam. I could not ask for more. love it, love it, love it....
