An ad misprint, not my problem, well they tried to make it mine!! Got the opener for 129.99 it was regularly 251.99. Spoke with manager, Jay, in the morning. I let him now what a great deal, thats when a bell should of gone off and he did something about it. At the store the salesgirl was great, very sympathic, and helpful, her number 745 in store in Quakertown, PA. You should make her the manager!!!!!

The Kenhorst store is at a great location, the staff is friendly and helpful. I have purchased many tools, a garden tractor, gas weed trimmer, chainsaw and so much more over the years. I would recommend the Kenhorst, PA Sears Hardware location to a friend. --Ted H., Mohnton, PA

I found not one but three salesmen to complete my appliance purchase in one day. I closed on a new home for me in Whiting, NJ and needed a refrigerator so I would be able to move in and enjoy retirement living. I visited two stores in the morning before the closing on my home Monday Nov. 7th and then another "Big Box" store later on that day. As a loyal Sears customer for my years I tried Sears first. I was assited by Wayne Kless; Appliance Dept. Lead. Wayner went over the measurements I had written down and offered some suggestion to narrow down my choice. The price was Approx. $75. less than another one I saw advertised somewhere else and so we decided to keep looking and come back to Wayne as the choices narrowed down. Wayne gave us his business card with the measurements of the Sears appliance and other facts about the purchase and told us he would be avialable for the rest of the afternnoon. Wayne was positive without being pushy and was very pleasant to deal with. I had the closing,......

I live only two blocks away so is very handy and I am familiar with the store layout and can usually walk right to what I am looking for. Prices seem competitive and not out of line. I use the store frequently....

Customer service at the Wooster, Ohio store is unsurpassed making me want to give them my business and resturn as a customer. I was willing to buy 2 packages of the product I purchased, Sediment Filter Cartridge, #4238478 but the store only had one left in stock. I went on-line to search for the part and it was out-of-stock giving a substitute part number for re-order. Therefore, no fault on the Wooster store as the warehouse was out of stock also. Keep up the good work!...

I am a female and not especially knowledgeable about washers for use in an outside hose or anything else for that matter, which was my primary reason for visiting this particular Sears store. If you live in the Shirley NY area, I would highly recommend this store located at 1019 Montauk Highway (in the same mini mall as ******), which store I was completely unfamiliar with. During my travels throughout the store, I was greeted by a smile and "can I help you in anyway" inquiry in 2 different departments of the store. In general, salespersons can sometimes be more aggressive, and like an annoying gnat, than need be and personally I walk away from that type of person and find someone else who is not so bothersome. I found everyone at this store, including the cashiers, most welcoming. I have a Sears store in closer proximity to my home; however, if I'm in the Shirley area, I will keep this address in my GPS for the future.

I will NOT be returning to the local Sears Hardware in Spring , Texas. While paying for my purchase I kindly asked cashier for military discount showing her my ID. She then in turn asked a manager who was just coming out of office how to do discount on register. She was a new employee and had not yet learned how to do one. He then rudely states that Sears does not give a military discount. Then I told him that I have been receiving the discount in that store for the past year. He then declares that he is the district manager and wants to know why the store is giving military discount. I think that is a DUMB question. I just continued on with my purchase while he went looking for the manager. The cashier was very kind and courteous. She did her best to smooth over the situation. I kindly informed her that I will no longer shop there. I will only shop in military friendly establishments. If I really wasnt in need of the items I was purchasing I would have gone elsewhere.
