We bought both the washer and Matching Dryer set and I would Highly Recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable and durabile set. We were very pleased with the help we recieved from the Sears saleman and the price for which we payed for them. Thank you so much Sears. This is the reson I do most of my purchasing from Sears based on Price, Support and Long lasting products.

I purchased a Kenmore washer and Dryer 20 years ago from Sears. It was the regular top loader with the turner in the middle. It started taking 2 hours to dry the clothes so my husband and I thought it was time to upgrade. We decided to go with this washer and the matching dryer. I was concerned about only using a certain type of HE detergent but what I find is now that I actually MEASURE the detergent (since the washer requires so little) I actually am saving detergent. We also heard about the mildew and yes the water does collect within the inside of the washer but I just dry it out every time and leave the door open as the salesman and he product doc recommended. I LOVE the washer. It get clothes clean. I LOVE the Delicate cycle which unlike my other washer actually gets the clothes clean with cold water and sanatizes as well. The silver care option is nice also. Oh and that cute little song that plays when the cycle is complete is nice. At first it scared...

I love the Vibration Reducation Technology; despite the fact that it's a vertical washer, it's just as quiet as our old top-loader, and it doesn't walk across the room the way the old one did!

The washer and dryer are deeper (from the wall) than our old appliances, so now the laundry room is quite crowded; we have to close the door on the washer in order to pass by it, but that is not the washer's fault...Our house is just too small.

The flange in the front of the machine collects a little puddle below the door, but since one is supposed to leave the door (and detergent compartment) open after washing (as per instruction manual, to avoid mildew smells), we just keep a little washcloth by the washer so we can wipe it out before we leave the room. We leave the doors open whenever the washer is not in use, and we've experienced no odor problems so far, 5 months into ownership.

I love the happy musical call at the beginning and end of cycles. There are so many cycle preferences one can adjust...

The Samsung VRT washer works very well. Some things I noticed so far are you need to not get carried away with trying to see how much you can load. This is especially true of washing sheets with clothing as they tend to get twisted up together. It is important to wipe out the seal area around the door and wipe down the door at the end of doing wash and leave the door cracked open so mildew will not form and soap residue doesn't build.

Our washer and dryer are next to the kitchen and living room areas. We needed a machine that was reliable, worked well, and was quite. I can't say much about reliability since we have only had the machine for 3 months except that is has not skipped a beat. The machine washes all our clothes perfectly and the high speed spin definately saves drying time. What impresses me most is how quite this machine is. The best washing machine I have ever seen and by far the best I have ever owned!

the VRT tech is amazing, you dont even know it is in spin mode, washes extreamly well and hold a ton, towles, jeans, its can handle it all.

We have had our washer and dryer set for several months now. We have really liked them. Before this, we had the old style washer. This washer definitely uses less water and because it does not have an agitator, it does not tear or stretch out my clothes. We love the sanitize feature and use it a whole lot more than we thought we would. The only downside is it does not have a quick cycle. Normal cycle time is about 50 minutes. However, I have learned if I just need to wash a few items in a shorter amount of time, I'll just use the delicate cycle which is about 37 minutes. The vibration reduction technology is absolutely great. We can hear when it kicks into gear. Only once in all these months has the washer ever shaken badly which is waaay better than my old washer or even the newer washers without this technology. We did not purchase the pedastal, but not having it has been fine. Perhaps one day when are older and our aching bones and joints kick into gear we will consider getting the...

I bought this washer and dryer set about 2 months ago and couldn't be happier. The first thing I noticed was no sound coming from my laundry room while the washer was running! The vibration technology works like a charm. I have never owned a samsung product before so I was a bit hesitant before purchasing but I went out on a limb. I would recommend Samsung to anyone who is looking for an inexpinsive front loader that gets the job done.

After doing a lot of research online for washing machines, I finally choose the Samsung washer with Vibration Reduction Technology. This washer has far surpassed my expectations. It gets my clothes clean while using less water than a top loading washing machine, which cuts down on my water bill. If I put it on high spin it cuts down on the drying time which cuts my electricity bill. You can barely hear the washing machine run. I love being able to wash a lot of clothes, more than a top loader, at once because I have two boys who seem to get their clothes dirty the minute they put them on, this cuts down on the time I do laundry and gives me more time to play with them. The only down side is I have to keep the door open after I wash a load until it's completely dry, if I don't it has a weird odor the next time I wash a load of clothes. Keeping the door open is not a problem because the washer is in a room by itself and my toddler does not go in there without me so I don't...

The Samsung Washer is incredible. It is quite amazing how quietly it runs and effectively the washer really works. The most important thing we were looking for when we were purchasing a new washer was to make sure it was affordable and a good quality. Both of these qualities were quickly found in the Samsung Washer. I didn't even know about the Noise Reduction Technology, so that was a definite plus. You can not go wrong with this beautiful, quiet, affordable front loading washer.

This washer is the best! It uses very little water and cleans better than the old top loader that I used to have. I was leary of the Samsung brand because I did not know anything about it, but I read the reviews and heard nothing but good things. It looks nice in my place and is so doggone quite! It even sings to me! It plays some interesting tune when it is finished. I am just amazed!

Samsung washer front loader Model wf448aaw/xaa with pedestal is a great machine. My wife is so happy. We had been using a Kenmore series 70 heavy duty top loader for over 25 years and it died (two other successful repairs during those years). So we were stuck in our ways and hoping to find a new washer with the same kind of life. The first thing that made us chose the new Samsung is that the price of the extended warranty is cheaper by $100 bucks than the Kenmore He5t (almost all the same features). The pricing of the 5 yr warranty speaks well about the expected reliability of the Samsung. Also in reading reviews of other models I found comments regarding accidental pocket change causing damage to the drain pumps of other models. This Samsung 448 has an easy to clean pump screen which is supposed to catch items like coins before they damage the pump. We have our laundry in the basement so I was not to concerned about vibration (our old toploader shook a lot anyway...

I went shopping for a washer and loved the look of this one and all the features. The white was out of stock so I took the red because of availability. From the moment I started using this machine I was glad I put out the money for both the washer and dryer.

I love the low energy/water usage. I love all the options for loads, water, spinning, etc. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE how darn sharp looking they are! Oh, and the cute little dings and tings that they make when they change mode or stop.

I was a little shocked to see that Samsung even made washers and dryers. I was shocked to see them in the Samsung red color that my cellphone is. But it turned out to be a great purchase and well worth the money. And honestly compared to the other extra large front loads I looked at, it was a little cheaper than some and a little more than others. So I think it turned out to be a great value.

And when I wash I wash. This set can handle big loads and little loads and they all some out sparkling clean!!!!

My wife and I decided to upgrade to a front loader when our water bills doubled. Man I am glad we waited for Samsung to come up with VRT and SilverCare Technology. The machines work flawlessly and our water bill has been cut in half. Also the drying time has went from 70min to 40min max. She told me at first I was just wanting to get new machines because our friends have them, Haa!
