I was able to assemble the exercise bike in 10 minutes. It is quite, and very stable, the programs work well. The only draw back is the seat bar needs one more hole for short people, and since I am short I needed to put the handle on backwards. Overall this is a excellent product and I would recommend it for anyone!!!!...

ksjazzy says "No Troubleshooting Guide" about Schwinn Active Series Upright Exercise Bike

I purchased this bike after reading reviews and checking various online sites for upright bikes and they were positive. However, after 30 days of use (20-30 minutes 3x per week) my pedals locked.

I reviewed the enclosed documentation and realized neither book included a Troubleshooting Guide. I visited the Schwinn/Nautilus website to discover one did not exist for this machine. After I contacted customer service I was informed that the bike must be replaced.

Before this occurred, I truly enjoyed the bike for the money, value and relative ease of assembly. However, you do tend to get what you pay for, so I will take the refund and apply more monies and upgrade to a better quality product....

For the price, this is a great bike. It was so easy to assemble and most bikes with preset workouts are a lot more expensive and they do not carry the reputation that schwin does. Save money get this bike....

Well built, with clear and easy assembly instructions. Could not have been more straightforward. The bike itself is comfortable (for an indoor bike) and extremely quiet. I use it for "interval training" sessions of about 20 minutes 3 times a week. While the bike is not for "serious" bike enthusiasts, for folks who just want a sturdy, no-nonsense bike with a better than average warranty, this is perfect....

I waited three weeks after purchase before reviewing this product. So far, I am very pleased. The set up was very easy even for someone with no mechanical skills. The ride is quiet and smooth and the seat is reasonably comfortable. The several programs offer plenty of variety. The bike is solid and a great value for the price. I would strongly suggest you check your local K-Mart store before buying the bike on line. Earlier in the month it was on sale for $187 and free shipping. Before ordering it I checked the K-Mart in Coral Springs. The same bike was being closed out for $125. The box was small enough to fit into my compact car. Hopefully, a year from now I will continue to be pleased....

very easy to assemble...only a few quick and easy steps. great workout. a little uncomfortable sitting there on the seat, but most exercise bikes and road bikes usually aren't 100% comfortable....
