On Friday Nov 26 I purchased a Craftsman three piece tool chest online I scheduled to pick it up at the below location Sears Store 0001300 2 OakBrook Center Oak Brook IL 605231810 630 575 1800 On Tuesday Nov 30 I received two emails informing me that all three pieces of the tool chest were ready for pickup I went to customer pickup and entered my information into the kiosk it said that only two of three pieces of the tool chest were in top and middle sections were available It asked if I wanted to pick up the two pieces or wait until all three pieces were in I figured I would pick up the two pieces while I was already at the store When the customer pickup representative came out he said the two pieces available for pickup were the bottom and the middle different from what the computer said as well as from the email I asked how will I know when the third piece comes in He said he would void the top piece out of the kiosk since it said it was ready for pickup to show the bottom piece......

I recently purchased a Cross Walk Treadmill through the on-line at Sear's. I was told that the deliver would include free installation, but when I called SEARS, I was told something else. But first, when I looked at the price for the cross walk, it was listed as $379.99, so I added it to the cart and once I did that the price jumped from $379.99 to $399.99, so I called the Customer Service and told them about my little problem. The CSR from SEAR's told me that it was a mistake and it is for $399.99, so I told him look it is been there for 3 days and your telling me that you guys will fix it, so anyway after talking to a person that did not understand anything, I asked him if they can honor the price and he said "NO" rudely. Anyway i just hung up on the guy, I would have better talking to my dog and getting better results, but I did make the purchase and I called again and told them that according to the deliver stats where you can go and put in your zip code, it told me the deliver...

I only came to this Sears for the first time quite recently, but I was definitely impressed with the store. Tucked within a beautiful outdoor mall (one that boasts a Neiman Marcus as well, to my surprise), it strikes me as a destination for a lot of well-to-do folks.

Of course, a great Sears with great merchandise and setup (have you seen the Tools section lately?) still wouldn't be a great shopping experience without the right people to help you out.

Oak Brook has a great team dedicated to helping make a customer's shopping experience the best possible. From the store manager, Ann, to the guys in the backroom to the associates on the selling floor, everyone has been super friendly and especially excited about new ideas that can make our loyal customers even happier walking in and out of the store.

I feel like I can say I've met some of Oak Brook's "finest," and the only things they "bust" are bad shopping experiences. I hope to meet the rest of the team over the next few weeks.
