      <description>unprofessional technicians and dispatchers.  They are passive aggressive.  After coming out 3 times, they set up an appointment 10 days later.  I called and moved it up and they did not show up.  I am sure it was planned.  They are the worse repair service company we have ever had to deal with.  They are incompetent as well as being passive aggressive... </description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;My landlord scheduled a repair - I waited all day and did not receive a phone call before the repair man arrived as it said I would in the email confirmation. &#160;I saw a &quot;post it&quot; note scribbled on my door and missed the repair man by 10 minutes. &#160;Called immediatly and was told this would be taken care of.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I did not hear back for several hours and called sears again. &#160;I was transfered to a manager on the phone three times to try to resolve this issue and was disconnected each time after hours of waiting.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I tried to contact sears trough the online chat function and was told I would be called back. &#160;I was never called back (two days later) and continued to be disconnected from the hotlines I was pushed through.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have never had such a horrible experience with any company in my life. &#160;Sears is supposed to be a premium product in the appliance repair world and I am shocked at the poor performance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you want service do not use SEARS - there is no way to reach anyone other than a call center...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Still waiting for the repair technician. I received an email confirmation of my repair appointment. The email informed me that I would receive a call a day in advance, and a call just before the technician arrives.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The day before I received no call, so I phoned Sears to make sure everything was OK. I said that I was taking the next day off, so I wanted to make sure that they were planning to come. The phone rep assures me that all is ok. He says, well, sometimes they call and sometimes they don't. Hmmm. Inconsistent and slightly unprofessional already. Off to a shaky start....&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is the day of my appointment...the widow of time has passes. No call, and the technician is a no-show.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I called back. The phone rep said that he sent a message to the technician. I will receive a call with a status in 30 mins....&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Later...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Still no call. Apparently, my time, and really I, am the least concern of Sears. My time and frustration mean nothing to them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Guess where I will no longer be shopping? Guess...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

      <description>Sears warrantee service department are really bad and unprofesional.  I used to have service warrantee on my refridgerator.  At the end of service warrantee I got the call to renew it.  I said ok but the sales person asked me if I like to add my washer and dryer too.  I said ok fine.  I gave him all the information he asked me.  Everything was done fine.  Unfortunately, my washer gone bad after few days after buying the warrantee.  I was glad that I got the warrantee service in time.  But No.  I had to wait for full two weeks for a technitian to show up for service.  Upon looking my washer, the technitian said it is not correct.  He said it would cost me around $200 to fix it.  I was shocked.  I asked why?  He told me that it does not qualify for warrantee and he very quickly right in front of me using his computer cancelled my warantee.  Unbelievable!!!  I had to spend about 2 and 1/2 hours over the phone with several people other side.  But no help at all.  I got so frustrated that finally...... </description>

Both time I called the rep I was really unhappy with his service. First time, with the hood their was a missing part on the hood . We asked them to put a new one as their is hole for the part.He refused saying I have to pay him for that otherwise it will; not be covered. I have a one year warranty from sears. Today I called them for chaning the grates on my gas range as the color was chipping (Within 2 months) and the rep said that &quot;It is normal wear and tear&quot;. When I called the repair service theysaid he is the final authority. I really don't think chpping paint on grates within 2 months is &quot;Normal Wear and Tear&quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Totally disapponted with Sears at this point.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1. Week One: called for service.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. week two.&#160;Service tech came out and trouble shot washer and said we needed a new control board. Fine, order it. Charged $129 for service call and $136 for part. And had to pay on the spot.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Week three. &#160;Part shows up with in a week, New service tech shows up to install part and declares it is not the control board that is the problem. It is the pump. ( which by the way would have been the 3rd one needed to be installed.) So he takes control board with him and orders the new pump; stating it will take another week to get.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Middle of week 4. Sears calls and says that the pump will not be availble until the end of January, 2012, maybe, if then. So my wife calls and goes thru the whole ordeal with some one at the end of the 800# line and gets told that she can not help, she will need to transfer her to a different department. Approx. 18 minutes later another person comes on and my wife relays the entire story for the person...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

We had our 42&quot; flat screen TV go out THREE WEEKS AGO ( a few months after our service contract ran out)! We immediately made a service appt. We were told he couldn`t come until December 23rd. On Dec 21st they called to confirm the appt. YESTERDAY (the 22nd) they called and said they couldnt keep the appt. because the serviceman had been called to &quot;another area.&quot; Translation, he`s not coming to a small, off the regular route town when he can go to a many call area at $90.00 a pop whether he does anything or not!Like&#160;&#183;&lt;/div&gt;

I purchased a &quot;protection plan&quot; which requires that I receive 4 new parts within a year, and my first part was replaces a fraction over a year ago, so the last new parts cannot be added to the first. A week ago a technician installed the wrong part in error requiring yet another replacement part to be installed. The tech was here for 4 hour today and when he left, all seemed to be well, but when he left I noticed that the spin cycle had not functioned properly and put it on a spin cycle, only to fin that NO cycle was working AT ALL. Now I have learned that the &quot;rental reimbursement plan' will only pay for the days required to get my machine running or replaced, leaving me with the entire month to pay for the rental agreement. The next trip will no doubt require the necessary part replacement called for in my protection plan, and I must say that I am NOT excited about replacing...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

Sears will fix it&quot;. &#160;I took it to the nearest repair center where I was told the $56 fee was the &lt;em&gt;minimum&lt;/em&gt; I would be charged... I would have to &quot;pre-authorize&quot; for up to $80.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Wanting my beloved blower back, I said &quot;Okay. Not a problem&quot;... and paid a $35 &quot;up front&quot; fee for the diagnostic. &#160;This would obviously go towards the cost of the repair, should I choose to do it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I get a call the day after they said it would be done and was told that they needed to repair the carburetor and replace ALL the fuel lines, as well as replace the cord. &#160;The total cost? $190!!! &#160;I told them &quot;No&quot; on the carb and asked how much the pull cord replacement would cost (fully expecting the $56 flat fee as quoted on the site... hey, I'm an optimist, what can I say?).&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Called on 10/31 due to an error code on my Kenmore HE2 washer. &#160;Phone technician was the ONLY person to do a good job. &#160;She ordered a new control panel and scheduled an appointment for a week out.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1st appointment- Technician replaces the drain pump and takes the control panel with him.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Washer stops working again.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2nd appointment- Technician figures out it needs a new control panel, but has to order one since the first Technician took the one we original received.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3rd appointment- Technician replaces control panel, but overloads machine with soap to clean it out. &#160;Bubbles are coming out of places that shouldn't have bubbles, and water is leaking on the floor.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And what is the date? &#160;12/1. &#160;That's right- we are over a month into this process and still aren't sure if everything is fixed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thanks a lot Sears. &#160;After schlepping my laundry out of the house for a MONTH, I can guarantee I will never buy another one of your products. &#160;Hopefully none of my friends will either after reading my...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

I have also had full coverage maintenance agreement on all my appliances washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, A/C, water softener over $1k per year every year for over 10 years.&#160;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My refrigerator stopped working and when I called Sears repair service I was treated very rudely by a woman named Rhonda who was disrespectful and uncaring. I was informed that Sears does not have emergency service and the soonest a technician could come out was 5 days later. When I asked if I could speak to a supervisor about getting someone out sooner she said that she didn't have a supervisor and there was no one over her that she could refer me to try to get a sooner repair. I have over $400 of food in the refrigerator and freezer which is spoiling as we spoke. She said to just let it spoil and file a claim with Sears which would cover $250. OMG, they would rather pay than get a tech...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

I had a oven break over 6 times withing 3 years. In July they just replaced the parts again annd 5 months latter they are arguing with me not to repair it because I did not buy the service waranty. The funny thing is is that they only give you 90 days to fix a product and my oven was fixed 5 months ago so now they want to charge me for a new oven. Shame on them and shame on Sears. No wonder why the company is going downhill. If I ever treated my customers this way I would lose my buisness. The only people I feel sorry for are all the people that are going to lose their jobs who work for sears.... </description>

      <description>Against my better judgement i was convincd to buy my appliances at sears for my new home.  I purchased a washer, dryer, oven, refridgerator, and dishwasher all kenmore and all with the extended protection plan.  Within he first month the dryer broke and was exchanged by sears.  Two months later the replacement dryer broke, and that is were the trouble began.

I identified a strong burning smell and extreme heat coming from the dryer.  When i first called i was told that since this was my second dryer that they couldn't do anything but send out a tech 2 weeks later.  After explaining to them that this wouldn't work since i have 3children under the age of 5 they then told me to keep using the dryer and it should be alright!!!  I asked to be transfered to a manager where i was then disconnected.  I then repeated the same action with 4 customer service reps until i finally was told that they would gladly exchange the dryer, and all i needed to do was go the store i purchased it from and pick...... </description>

      <description>I have never had such an absolutely frustrating experience.  Parts were ordered for a nonworking washer and scheduled to be repaired tomorrow.  I got the automated confirmation call to confirm repair service and then heard the bit where parts were supposed to have been delivered.  It's the day before the repair and I have no parts.  

I talk on the phone with literally 7 different people in order to find out where the hell the parts are.  Turns out the address on file was incorrect after correcting the repairman the day of the diagnosis!  Why you would not contact the customer when there is an issue with the delivery floors me.  The parts were sent back to the home store and nothing was done to inform me of this.  

Now I'm a realist I understand mistakes happen.  But it's absolutely irritating when you think those mistakes have been corrected and have paid over $300 to have a repair and it's not getting done.  Botttomline customer service here sucks.  I was on the phone an hour trying...... </description>

Charged $148 for the guy to clean out the dispenser (I had to re-clean since he didn't do a good job) and run an &quot;Affresh&quot; tablet through a wash cycle. I could have done both! My washing machine still smells since it wasn't cleaned and I am out money. Sears customer service can schedule another service but the tech (according to them) will only run another Affresh tablet through. They also apologized and are sending me a $30 gift certificate for Sears...Hmmm, $148 down the drain and I get $30 from them? I won't be using Sears again, won't be recommending them to friends, and will be giving the $30 card away since I won't EVER buy from Sears. They don't care about anything but getting money and I can find a lot of other stores that DO CARE about their customers and customer satisfaction. Good bye Sears....I hope everyone gets smart and Sears either wises up or goes under!&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

      <description>Sorry we didn't look at this site first. We were long term customers of Sears and Sears Service but no more. (1) Called Monday 11/14 when refrigarator went down. Hit automated phone system and poor language skills by operator, but were scheduled for Tuesday. (2) Later that day they called and rescheduled for Friday; since we had purchased a extended warranty plan to cover repairs we reluctantly agreed. (3) Thursday morning automated phone call confirmed Friday service. (4) Thursday afternoon automated phone call said to call about reschedule. (6) asked to speak to supervisor; after ~40 minutes on hold line was disconnected. (7) called to cancel warranty plan and told them no more Sears service and no more Sears appliances.
