This isn't the closest Sears to my home, but I went there because I was in the area at the time. I needed some assistance in the appliances section and a friendly associate was there to help me. I liked the idea of having computer kiosks in the store to research items, but the one I used seemed very slow and disfunctional, other than that it was a good experience....

About time Sears made it easy to do a return. The new return area was sytaffed with very knowledgeable people who handled my return very quickly. They even had smiles on the faces. Good job!...

I shopped at the West Dundee Sears on 11/16/08 during Family Shopping Day. This was a great visit. The store looked great and it was well stocked. The folks in Electronics and Bridal Registriy really went out of their way to help my wife and I with some gifts. Thanks nice job!...

Love the Sears Store in West Dundee. It's clean, the folks are friendly, and the prices are good. The frustrations are things like when the registers go down or the price scanners don't work. Make sure the technology is working for the customer and your associates!...

I went to the store to buy a digital camera. I stood and waited for a sales clerk to enter the area. When the sales clerk actually did enter the area, he seemed to be pre-occupied doing some menial task and not to coming to assist me.

When I was trying to look at the cameras, there were many that were not function - due to no power or no batteries. one camera I was looking at was broke - there was no offer to show me one that wasn't and that would actually work.

I asked about the price difference for the memory cards that were required for different models/brands. I was given very general information as in "Sony is much more expensive than the panasonic". I had to ask "how much more expensive, like what are the prices". So I was given more information without the clerk checking the prices like "Sony's around $40 and Panasonics are around $20".

After choosing the camera I wanted to purchase I was told they did not have any in stock. So I chose another camera. Then I...
