This TV was delivered to me in just 2 weeks time. I'm not an HD specialist but this TV looks great with my video game systems. The price is hard to beat for a brand name label of similar size and characteristics. The package was doable boxed and ridiculously easy to put together. I used an HDMI cable to connect to my Playstation 3 and was up and running in just minutes. Great buy!... The sound quality is great you can listen to it loud without distortion, base and music come through nicely. The value brand you can not listen to very loud. The picture is great for a small or medium room, if you want to use it as a monitor then you want to go with a 1080. You won't notice a difference between this and a 1080 for DVD or Blu-ray movies. And this TV is bright. During the middle of the day I can see the screen just fine and the brightness level is not nearly to the highest level. Great TV, good value at the sale price. If your going to spend 800 or more, might as well go for a 1080.... Still love it to this day. It's a great entry-level HDTV. We dumped cable TV and have an antenna mounted on the house--great digital picture and HD programming as well. Very happy with it....
