This mower has the power and durability we were looking for at the price we wanted. The only drawback is that we would have preferred it to cut a little lower than it is capable of. Otherwise, it's perfect for keeping our lawn looking great.

The Snapper 190 cc is very easy for a woman to handle. No starting problems and easy to use especially with the self propeler

I start it up and it seems like 1,2,3 I am already done. Having a disability makes mowing easy with the Snapper 190 cc.

It is also easy to maintain. Everything is right there for you.

Ladies, you no longer have to wait for a man to mow the lawn with this machine.

Also, with the Maintenance Agreement, should something go wrong, Sears is there to help you.

This is a wonderful mower especially for people like me who have a hard time starting a pull start mower and i love having the key start it makes it so easy. Also it is very easy to go from mulching to baging now if only it could mow the lawn for me i'd be set, but until that day this is the lawn mower to own.

I've used mower 3 times since I bought it. The first time I used the Pull Start (right out-of-box & added gas/oil and adjusted the handle and wheels) - the grass was very high and since the mover was preset to mulch so I used that feature - I was concerned that the grass might be too thick & high, but the snapper powered though it just fine - afterwards it looked even without a trail of grass clippings. The second time was after I charged the battery - the key start worked fine. I mowed the yard in record time. The third time was after several days of rain - the grass was still semi-wet in spots and high in other spots. No-problem for this snapper. Overall, my yard has never looked so good. This has been the best mover I have used. I wholeheartly recommend it. BTW: My earler mowers were Cub-Cadet, Lawnboy, Murray & Toro - each lasted several seasons but ultimately all failed/died prematurely [different reasons]...

I had a Snapper for 12 years and when I needed another lawn mower I said, "why am i looking for something else". I purchased this mower and it is great, the key start is great for us aging youths and the self propelled feature makes it fun to cut the lawn again. You can't go wrong with a snapper, Kudos to B and S as well....

My old Snapper mower broke down after many years and after searching on the internet I bought this battery-starting Snapper. It started with the first pull on the cord (the battery was charging so I couldn't use it). I just used it the second time today - with the battery. It started great. The oil was still full and didn't need to add gas. Runs great. OK, here are the two things I don't like: When you want to back the mower up you need to push it forward first then back it up. Also, my old Snapper let me set the speed I wanted to use. This one requires me to pull a handle and it just takes off too fast. It is hard to pull the handle to the speed I want to use and I must do it with every forward motion....

Dynamite. Buy it. I finally gave up in exasperation after five years of misery with the Toro Super Recycler. Worst money I ever spent on anything. The Snapper was half the price and is five times the mower. Instant start works. Out of the box and ready to work. (Battery needs charged for 24 hours, but just pull the cord if you are going to use it the same day). Mulching leaves no trails. I pull a lawn striper behind it with no problem. Looks great, and I'm fussy about my lawn. An earlier reviewer said the engine was thirsty and I would agree. Cutting and handle height couldn't be easier to adjust. Maybe in five years I'll be less enthusiastic, but right now I'm patting myself on the back for making the right choice. Nothing cheesy, should have a long life....

Had my last mower for a couple months and it made mowing real work.So I researched and this is it. Easy to get ready to run, No assembly, just unfold and tigthen knobs, add gas,oil, one pull and your on way.(That's the only downfall the battery does not come charged) One hand height adjuster is great. Made in USA. Worth the money!...

Easy to assemble right out of the box. This lawn mower started on the first turn of the key (after charging the battery for 24 hours). Very peppy. In fact, it might have too much power for some. It cut through long grass with ease. My only small complaint is the grass catcher. You have to dump the grass out the same hole that it is filled up with. This is messy, and a lot of work to get out the grass. Other than my very small complaint, I would recommend this mower to anyone....

Bought this mower after the transmission on my 4 year old Toro gave out. Learned it would cost $230 to fix, so decided to put the Toro behind me. I first went w/ a Husqvarna front wheel drive; the one w/ the Honda engine. Found that the front wheel drive slipped a lot, and also found the design of the safety bar for the engine cut-out to be very poor, in that it dug into the palm of your right hand when engaging the front wheel drive. So, I returned that and got the Snapper. This machine is great. It has excellent build quality. Much heavier than my old Toro, with a good sturdy deck and tubular steel handles. Very convenient handle fold down mechanism. The B&S motor started on the very first pull out of the box. I really don't think Honda has anything over B&S. I like a fast mower, and this thing is quick! With the rear wheel drive fully engaged, you need to hustle to keep up. I mulch, and the provided mulching "plug" is very innovative and well designed. It's a bit odd looking, but it......

This is an overall fantastic mower! One lever to adjust all 4 wheels! Nice even cut. All mowers should have this. Plus, electric start, and it works! The ultimate 'lazy mans' machine. No priming, no ether, just turn the key and go. Rear drive and adjustable speed is excellent for hilly terrain. I actually look forward to mowing my lawn now. You will not regret buying this Snapper!...
