I give raving reviews for the sony playstation for watching blu-rays has changed my movie experience. It's primary function is to play games, but we use it to watch blu-ray movies. I highly recommend it! Because of quality and price. It's one of the least expensive blu-ray players in the market!...

I bought the 60 gig bundle last xmas when they 1st came out. We have 3 boys ages 7-15 and both me and my husband play. I LOVE this system. We haven't had one single probem with it. The only thing has been that not many games have been released for the ps3. But not a problem since we can pop in ANY ps2 game and play those as well. I also love the HD and blue ray. I wasn't happy about the games that came with the bundle but we sold them and got the games we liked. We also have a xbox360 and the sixxasis controller for the ps3 BLOWS the 360 out of the water!!...

Now I am a very hardcore gamer, with just about every system...EXCEPT for the Playstation 3. Defects rain supreme with this gaming unit. Want to play the system for hours and hours? Sorry... No can do. This system has constant freezing up, and it is very stressful to know that you might have been THAT close to beating SPIDERMAN to know that now you must start over due to the system freezing up. Not to mention if it freezes, and you are lucky enough to get it back up and running, the screen might then begin to "kaleidescope," resulting in the "death" of your expensive system. Word of advice... "THE KINKS ARE NOT WORKED OUT YET PEOPLE" believe me! Worked in gaming for 2 years, and actually owned and returned this system DAYS after experiencing problems that I nor SONY could really fix. If you want a reliable system, go for the Nintendo Wii ( I have not had one problem with it, and I have had it since November 17,2006). You can connect to the internet, play games, and can play it for HOURS...EVEN......

My friend and I just bought a PS3 about a week ago and as soon as we got it it was messed up with errors and glitches. We called Sony and they wouldn't really do anything about it either....

The graphics, gameplay, and free online gaming capability along with themes, free downloads, and wireless features all make this product a worthwhile purchase... I bought mine over a month ago and a day has yet to go buy when I don't play it. Awesome system and the Blu Ray capability along with High Def games are awesome when you have the TV for it. Stunning system, can;t Imagine what a PS4 has in store for us in the future!...

This is one really nice piece of equipment, it's an all in one multimedia/game console and this model is 99.9% backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 games! I really like all of the features that it has to offer and it's also a web browser so if need to check on something and don't want to turn on the pc I just use my PS3 and with its built in wi fi and don,t have to worry of any wires running around.Blue Ray player to enjoy a High Def movie here and there and don't forget games, games and more games that's what it is for in the 1st place I can still play my old games and I'm ready for the new ones to come!!!...

PS3, there are so many things you can do and experience with this system. Not only can you watch Blu-ray's but it ups all Dvds to HD quailty you'll never want to touch your DVD player again. It also ups the quailty of old PS1 and PS2 games. When you make this purpase dont think of it as you are buying a game system think of it as a Multi Media Entertainment system....

I've never been a game console guy. I'm more of a PC (Online Gaming) type. But when I took the plunge and bought my first ever Game console since Atari 2600 (Believe it or not) I am trully impressed. I can Play Blu Rays, Play PS3 games, Surf the internet (wirelessly), play regular DVDs, use wireless controllers, mem card readers are built into the machine. I recently installed a media server on my network and the PS3 picked it up. Now I can play all of my Mp3's, Videos, Photos, pretty much any media I want. The PS3 is AWESOME....

Fully intergrative, it allows for multiplayer games, over the internet, i mean you can be in a 4 player game at home, then connect to the internet and play with 30 people from all over the world its awesome, dog fights in jets, people coming up behind you, warhawk is one of the best games, i've seen yet, for the playstation, theres just so many possibilities when it comes to the playstation, gaming is where it begins but not where it ends....
