The PSP (Playstation Portable) is an excellent gaming console that allows gamers to play both old (e.g. FInal Fantasy IV Collection) and new (e.g. Knights in the Nightname) games.

The system itself is lightweight, yet have a decent screen size and battery life. Controls on the system are positioned logically allowing gamers to quickly transition from other systems, both portable and non-portable, to the PSP's control scheme.

The game library is also excellent. You can play classics such as Final Fantasy IV or Tactics Ogre on it, or newer games like Knights in the Nightmare or Half-Minute hero. It also provides reasonable good looking and playing ports of games that are released on the PS3/XBox360 such as Madden, Smackdown Vs Raw, etc.

The only thing bad is the system itself is aged and will soon be replaced by the Vita. However, that should not dissuade gamers from getting this system, and if anything gamers should take advantage of the lower console and game prices of the system before...

Got this for my oldest kid but my husband won't put it down it compact not to heavy it runs smoothing problems picture quality is great .myhusbnd complains about a lot this he doesn't at all he loves it. My daughter dropped it on wood floor and no problems with it at all .

The sony portable console is light and compact, my son can take it everywhere with him. it keeps him occupied for a very long time when he is on school break, and the games for the system are not badly priced. the battery life on the console is very long lasting.

Sony' PSP is so cool! I play games and watch movies any where I want to and no computer to drag around with me. Went from S.F. to So. Cal. and not to worry about wifi availability to play games and watch movies is awsome.

Only drawback is that there are a limited number of movies available on their UMDs and they've discontinued the UMDs. That's a big bummer because movies were a part of why I chose the PSP.

I bought my husband a PSP for his Birthday and it was the best purchase ever. He loves playing video games, but because of kids, not a lot of the games he likes to play are appropriate for little kids. The PSP just simply keeps everyone in our house happy - the TV is not tied up by someone playing video games and my husband can happily play the games he wants to play without me complaining about how appropriate they are/ are not for the whole family

The versatility and performance of the PSP is outstanding. The compact size and the large display is perfect for todays on the go lifestyle. While I tend to view movies, music videos or listen to MP3's most of the time, my son uses his primarily for video gaming and MP3's. Overall, the PSP is the best value for a portable multimedia device....

This like a product never seen before it is like having a dvd player, acomputer with intenet,a camera(viewing pic only),a game system, and a mp3 player all in one little device.Since i bought one for my son and i saw how much fun he was having so went to buy another one for me and it was the most funnest thing i have ever had/played.Plus it has wifi gaming which is just awesome also ii is sleek portable and it weighs just a little and it fits in your pockets,purse,or wherever.A long story short,This is the bestest thing to buy for kids,teens,and even adults....

Play your MP3's, Photos, Videos, Games, and browse the Internet, all within this great console. Ever since I bought it at Sears in 2005 I felt in love with it. Now my trips to Las Vegas from Los Angeles are no longer boring. I play video games, MP3's and UMD Movie discs which have become affortable. I give the PSP the highest rating because all of its great features. 5 Stars all the way....

Bought this for my son for his birthday. He is very careful with it, but the wireless toggle switch broke within a short time. Warranty definitely is worth it for something like that....

I'm 24 and my husband is 29 I bought this for him for christmas because you can download music, photos, video, and play games. I wanted to get him an ipod, but, obviously this was the best choice. We both love it. Its screen is very clear, and it has great graphics. I was very impressed. It definetly serves its purpose. Now I want one....
