I am completely thrilled with my new Sony! Excellent screen clarity and graphics - fast and fun. My only problem was the touch pad is ultra-sensitive, making it hard for me to use (maybe just for me!) But I planned on using a wireless mouse anyway - so no problem! Definately recommend to anyone....

The notebook is O.K., the speed is good but this computer like many of Sony's heat up alot when they are being used. Plus being a student this one is a backbreaker and was almost impossible for me to find a case that would fit it inside my backpack. I eventually had to sell it and get a smaller screen (15.4 inch widescreen) which I am much happier with. Alot of the installed software is useless and it will take alot of time to delete what you don't need. I recommend taking the computer and getting it clean booted and add the software that you desire. It will make it run and boot up much faster. The price tag was a little steep also. Like I said it is good but the price is far to much because you pay for the Sony name. In 6 month this computer will be priced 300 to 600 dollars less....
