Southwest is oneof my 2 favorite airlines. I love when the flight attendants interject some humor into the passenger safety briefings. I also love that your luggage is free. They are one of the few airlines that still has free baggage for non-elites. They have lots of convenient flights as well and fares are reasonable.

If you want to feel like cattle then I would reccomend Southwest airlines to you. The boarding process is just crazy and takes too long. It should be a time saver but it doesn't feel like it

Would not consider another airlines. This is a great family way to travel. No charges for your luggage and the crew is just so professional and down to earth. They go above and beyond to make sure your travel with them is one you will say, let's do it again............soon...

Southwest Airlines is the best way to fly. Cheap flights and no fee for the first bag. The people are great, the planes are always well kept. They go to alot of different places several times a day. The internet deals are really great also. We usually use the internet prices only flight. Sometimes they have $59 dollar deals....

I first started traveling with southwest my second year of college, I was on a buget then and now retired I can still travel with the help of southwest. I have try hard not to put to much in my bags but I can use the same size bag without paying more.

Southwest airline offers GREAT customer servic, trained employees to handle multiple personalities and oraganized land staff for customer satisfaction. Very approachable!Fligths in ands out of major airports for example Midway are always on time departing\arriving...Staff is courteous, polite and not stuck on themselves...midwest friendly, smiling and helpful! The planes are clean, and well stocked.

Recently I travel on Southwest leaving Dallas Love Field going to Oakland Ca...I recently had surgery and could not do the lifting and all of the walking so Southwest had employees that help me with getting on/off the plane my baggage checked in and out...and to my family each time going and coming ...My trip would have been very hard on me and might not have taken it if there were not those accommendations....Thank You Southwest ......

When I first got on a plane it was Southwest Airlines that I chose. My first flight was to New York! It is so beautiful there. On the plane the crew were so nice and professional. You can sit wherever you like, they don't charge you for extra baggage, and you get a drink and snacks when you board! Even the Pilot informs you of the weather of your destination, how cool is that! They also have great prices! They take care of you at Southwest.

I am reviewing Southwest airlines which I have traveled on twice from Tulsa to Los Angeles. I was unaware of the seating arrangements when I first boarded the flight, so I was confused why people were in such a hurry to line up at the gate, and it kind of reminded me of a rat race. Once on board I found a seat and soon discovered it was comfortable and the service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and they even showed a movie which helped to pass the time. Overall I enjoyed my flight not to mention it was the most affordable; however I do think that even though the seating arrangements are interesting and different, it can also be a deterrent for those who don't feel like being so aggressive in order to get a good seat. Often times when traveling a person gets tired and just does not want to be bothered with seating arrangements, so I think it would benefit the company to have half of the plan assigned with planned seating, and the other half can be the free for all innovative seating....

I recently traveled to Alabama with my husband and two small children (4 year old and 6 month old). I was dreading this trip because of the hassle it usually causes to travel with small children on the plan. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my flight with Southwest Airlines. Not only was everyone helpful, they gave both of my children paper airplanes to keep for their scrapbook. How did they know I scrapbook EVERYTHING! I was happy with all aspects of my travel on Southwest and would recommend them to anyone traveling with children.

I have run into some unforseen problems while flying with Southwest Airlines, problems which were not necessarily the fault of either party. I have told them of my dilemma and they have responded with genuine interest and assurance that they would look into whatever concerns I may have had with the hope the same would not happen again. They also sent me a 'LUV' coupon for use on future travel as a way of saying they were sorry I had had a bad experience....

I do love Southwest. I wish they would list on Orbitz or Travlelocity etc, but they do not as they are not always the lowest fares. I go to Orbitz etc first, then look to Southwest for a price comparison. I think if they listed themselves on those other sites, they would always be the low cost carrier.

Southwest makes traveling as easy as they possibly can. It seems as though the airline actually puts the customer's needs before their own. What a concept!

Need to change flights? No horrendous charge! Just change your plans and apply the credit from the original purchase. Do it within a year or you lose it. Fair enough.

Check in online 24 hours in advance so you can have the best choice of seating possible. This is not a big deal to me if I am flying alone, or on a short flight. On longer flights, or if I really want to sit with a particular someone, getting on the plane first is more important to me.

The people who work at Southwest seem cheerful and pleasant. They seem eager to please and I like that.
