I have purchased this game for 5 of my grandchildren they love playing it. The older kids get to the highest levels but the younger ones keep trying. It is a fun wholsome game for kids in moderation of course.

i purchased this game for my granddaughter for xmas i thougt ohboy this is out of my limits but after seeing her it didnt matter the game is so full of excitement the power level is wonderful the game was abig succsess i would buy it again evev i like to sneak a game ha ha it was great...

New Super Mario Bros. DS is easily one of the best DS games available. While keeping the Super Mario tradition of having 8 worlds, each with a theme and multiple castles where you beat up Bowser's cronies only to be unable to rescue Princess Peach, New Super Mario Bros adds to this by incorporating new power-ups and such to the storyline.

You are met with one of these new power-ups right at the early stages of World 1-1, when you discover the Super Mushroom, which makes Mario into a much larger version of himself that is capable of destroying pretty much anything in his path for a short period of time. Another new powerup is the Koopa Shell, which allows Mario to swim faster underwater as well as to protect himself by withdrawing into the shell. Finally, the mini mushroom allows Mario to become a tiny version of himself, capable of squeezing into some of the smaller pipes found throughout the game. This last power-up is quite possibly the best integrated into the game, as some worlds cannot...

My sons, ages 7 and 3 love this game. It is simple enough for the 3 year old to play on long car trips, and challanging enough for the 7 year old at the same time....
