I was looking for an ipod dock for some time but didn't want to buy one just to buy one. I was looking for the right one. The Tivoli iSongBook was recommended to be a co-worker (I'm a Systems Administrator in a rather large IT department) and was told Sears was offering a steal of a price on these. They were selling them for $100 each with a $50 instant rebated. I only paid $50.00! and it was the best $50 ever spent! I love all of the features!

My office is on the ground floor located in the center of the building. With all of the concrete walls that surrounds my office, radio signals just don't reach my office... no radio, no cell phone reception.. nothing! unitl the iSongBook! What amazing reception from this little box! It has reconnected us with the outside world again during the 9-5!

The sound is awesome and so is the size! I was looking to pick up another one for my daughter, but they are now selling for as much as $400!!!!! Wow! Still worth it! With...

I have a Tivoli Songbook. I paid a hunk of change for that unit, and still find it a good deal for the sound quality and performance. The iSongbook has dual speakers, a built-in iPod dock, remote control, and the alarm clock/sleep feature for a super low price! This deal can't be beat and thus far, I am glad I got the iSongbook. I have an iPod Classic 160GB, and my iSongbook charges the iPod with my docking adapter. What I also love about Tivoli is that you can put NiMh AA batteries in the unit, and the included Tivoli charger also charges the batteries! This has awesome sound quality and performance; I don't think you'll be sorry if you purchase the iSongbook!...

Being the owner of several Tivoli radios I felt like the iSongbook would be the iPod docking system for me. Consistent with other Tivoli products the features are basic and the sound quality is good. Tivoli chose to go with an electronic volume control which is useful given the included remote, but the input selector is still mechanical. It would have been nice if they had made it electronic also. The most disappointing thing about the iSongbook, and almost a deal breaker, is that it is not completely compatible with newer generation iPods. Newer iPods will not charge when docked in the iSongbook. Newer generation iPods display an alert message when docked. One other minor inconvenience is with the AC power adapter. The transformer is so large and heavy that it often comes unplugged under its own weight. All in all, having purchased this item at the very discounted price that Sears frequently offers I feel like I got my money's worth, but I would not be satisfied at all if I had paid full......

I heard about this from a friend who said that Sears was selling it at a great price. I bought one for myself and then a month later bought one for my son going off to college. Great product at a reasonable price....

This is my second song book. You can't beat the price of Sears on this one. This is the whole system and it's priced below what I paid for just the main unit a year ago. Granted Tivoli's other small radios may sound a little better in the bass, but this unit has convenience features that I needed like a sleep timer , alarm and digital preset tuning. I look at the extra speaker and ipod dock as just an extra bonus at this price....

This is the third Tivoli Radio I have bought!! I started with a model 1 table radio, then added an IPAL, and now the ISONGBOOK. I think they have great tuners , which is why I buy them, they also have great sound....

I was, sadly, disappointed with this product. I had read so much about Tivoli that perhaps my expectations were too high. The iSongbook arrived with the speaker in the main unit sounding a bit crackly, but even if it sounded as good as the other speaker, it still would have been far less than spectacular. One has to wonder why Sears is selling these for half the price of Crutchfield, and even THEN Sears has offered further discounts. I was also disturbed by the lack of adjustments for tone NO bass or treble adjustments whatsoever. The only good part is that I was able to return it the next day to a Sears store location with relative ease....

This reasonably priced Tivoli iSongBook has proven to be as good as advertised. The detachable speaker is a useful feature when I am trying to fill a room with the more than adequate sound of the efficient speakers. While the range of the speakers is a bit limited, I would not hesitiate to recommend this radio/iPod player! Inserts are provided for your particular iPod so that stabilization is provided within the docking unit. A good buy!...

This little radio is a gem! For a travel radio it has world class sound. Only concern is if you are into heavy bass music it falls a little short. But the sound is crystal clear. Ideally charges your ipod while playing and with 6 brand new AA rechargable batteries seems to last about 6 hours of ipod play. Radio tuner sounds superb as well. Will make you want to listen to the air waves again. Perfect for world travel. I'll be taking along with me to India along with ipod and laptop. Music is important!!!...
